Great video. Thank you. So I'm the same weight as you and love the 1500 for Dw and tiny bump Sup. Which would you choose for waist to head high supping? 1300 seven seas 1150 Sk8 Or 1000 Eagle X
I wonder sometime if the eagle 1290 ir eagle x is not better for bump riding. Pretty sure the 7 seas is more surfy and polyvalent but not as fast than eagle, i see the différence with my sk8 950 i can connect the bump really easily, on my 1400 the speed is almost too slow and have to pump. He answered in a previouscomment 7 seas can be used in smallest bump than the eagle.
Loving F-one. Been on Sal and was frustrated with my kites and my waveboard. Mitu gave me his Bandits (guess it was 2017 or 18) and I was addicted. My first Fone was a Mach3 but changed the brands serveral times since than.. I bought the Bandit 2019 model and this kite is fantastic in many terms.
Great vid. So I've owned the 1290 and the 1900 for Downwinding. I tried them on both my 85 16mm and my 75 Alu mast but there was way too much flex. My big foils are Axxis because of this. All my other kitbis F-one. I presume the 1500 causes the same flex? A shame Fone aren't selling a 75 16mm.
Looks awesome like all your videos! I am looking forward to start my supfoil journey… I am 75kg and my board is 7’7 110L 20 wide. I wing a lot but never done much paddling. Already have eagle 890 and SS1200. I have the opportunity to get the SS1500 for a good value. Do you think it is a good option to learn on or is it better to invest double the price and get the jam 1600?
Hi there ! Great video ! I plan to go wingfoiling in Sweden this summer. Is a 4/3 wetsuit is enough ? Or better a warmer one ? Tks a lot. PS : the spot is Varberg ?
Hi mate! I probably go for the 95L board but a SS 1500. a big foil will help a lot in the beginning and you can use the 1500 small days and maybe gett smaller foil later for bigger days with stronger wind. :)
Hi, I’ve got a big question. I’m quite advanced, heavy (95 kg) and jumping and looking to backflip. I have a phantom 1080 that is my low wind, slow, easy finish foil. I have been pushing towards Eagle, SK8 and even Seven Seas. For example high aspect, but with them it seems all about the speed and glide in a downwind style. My question is should I ‘come back’ to Phantom S for freestyle? Presumably it is slower and lower glide, but better for boosting and getting going up again after landing? I’ve always associated Phantom with beginner foils, but is Phantom S the go to foil for freestyle?
Hi Yes Eagle 1290 needs quite bit more more push in the bumps to get going and bait more experience. SS works better in more marginal conditions and much more forgiving. I am on 80cm mast and it works great you. you can probably go shorter too. :)
hi, i’m interested on buying the 890 Eagle foil, but I’m not sure, because I want to see if I can go foil with the 75 L board and the eagle 890 in 8 knots or 10 with a 5 m strike v3? im 63 kg
New Strike V4 is lighter and better low end goes fast and tacks great a lot of hang time. It's over all more high performance. If you want an freeride/wave wing the Swing V4 is bit less high performance then the strike but drift/free fly super nice
Thanks for the video! ..any insights into the new Rocket S - saw a RU-vid of someone ripping on a new looking board in perfect glassy like conditions in Witsand?
