I'm A Fan Of Every Vehicle Brand Ever Made Except For Toyota, Honda And Modern Mazda Now That They Have A Partnership With Toyota! Mazda Should Have Stuck With Ford Mazda Was Better When Ford Owned Them!
Oh I Promise You It Works, My Dad's Expedition 5.4 Was Burning 1/2 A Quart Of Oil Every 5,000 Miles And After Running The ATS Oil System Cleaner Through For 20 Minutes At 2,000 RPM'S. It Doesn't Use A Single Drop Between Oil Changes. So It Does Work
I'll have to disagree on that it's hard to beat a Toyota specialty Toyota tundras and Titans I mean I got a 2003 Ford f150 lariat four-wheel drive with 113,000 mi on it those are the best trucks the 2003 these new Fords ain't no count I wouldn't buy one
The best truck on the road is a Toyota I mean Iona Ford I got a 2003 Ford f150 lariat it's got a 113,000 me on it the best motor that Ford has ever built the best motor that Ford has ever built is the 5.4 2 valve 2 valve
Makes sense. I got a fuel cap warning ight that came on the other day. Now my engine light came on as well, so I connected my obd2 scanner and got the P0455 code. Time to buy a new gas cap.
Surprised the FORD lasted that long ! Found On Road Dead. Actually have owned 3 Fords. One I still own is a CVPI. with 230000 miles. The surprising item is the transmission lasted that long without servicing.
Yes It Was The Shift Linkage, It Was In Drive The Entire Time Even Though The Shifter Was In Park. Went Under And Shifted It Back Into Park And It Started Right Up.
262k miles 4.7l it’s the driver not the car maintenance is key , I’ve had to change water pump and thermostat oh and make sure you keep that drive shaft greased my shit broke out and I had to replace that 😂 but change diff fluids every 30-40k miles and 3k mile oil changes love the car
I Hear Ya And Yes, I Had To Replace My Front Driveshaft Too And I Change My Oil And Filter Every 5,000 Miles With Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic 5w20 And And OEM Mopar Oil Filter
Awesome bro i have a 75 Maverick looks just like this. I wanna rewire it my wires/wiring needs freshened up. Ill try and help you find a battery tray. Good little maverick 👍
Drove a 2024 SV trim as a rental. This is the most uninspiring vehicle I've ever driven. Feels ultra cheap, doesn't ride particularly comfortably and the materials feel like they were pulled right out from the budget bin. The CVT makes the engine loudly drone under load and the vehicle feels more sluggish than a 2011 Corolla we once owned. If I owned one, I'd have little confidence this vehicle would be reliable 3-5 years down the road. For a brand that advertises 'performance' and 'sportiness', this thing is an embarrassment.
My Dad's Has Well Over 200K Now, 2018 Altima, I Change The Oil And Filter Every 5,000 Miles And The Transmission Fluid Every 50k Miles, And Still Runs And Shifts Like A Top. My Dad Bought It With 40k And He Does All Highway Driving From Our House In Pageland To Virginia And Back And From Our House To Florida. He Manages A Trucking Company. And Travels To Cover For His Drivers When Needed.
Just a quick question…If it’s leaking from the valve covers, why not install new valve cover gaskets?….You probably already spent in oil what a new set of valve cover gaskets costs…
I'm Planning To, I Just Don't Have Time To Do It Myself And Don't Know Any Trustworthy Mechanics, Because I'd Rather Pay Someone To Replace My Valve Cover Gaskets, And I'm Not Just Replacing The Valve Cover Gaskets, I'm Replacing The Spark Plugs, And Ignition Coils As Well. And I'm Trying To Get The Money To Do That, 8 Brand New OEM Mopar Ignition Coils Are Around $800, And About $100 For 16 Brand New OEM Champion Spark Plugs. And That's Why I Haven't Done The VC Yet! And Yes, The Ignition Coils And Spark Plugs Have To Be OEM Or They Last 230,000 Miles Like The Original Ones Have. I Bought It From The Original Owner When It Had 200,000 Miles On It.
Bro penzoil please get that out of your car and put Castrol royal purple liqui moly or pentosin that will make your car run so so well bro seriously I’ve blown engines on that oil
It's Not The Brand Of The Oil That's Important, It's When You Need To Change It That's Important. You Need To Change Your Oil And Filter Every 5,000 Miles. Your Motor Blowing Up Had Nothing To Do With The Oil Brand You Use. 1 Of 4 Things Could Have Happened To Cause Your Motor To Blow: 1. Driving Too Hard 2. Over Revving 3. You Had An Oil Leak And You Never Checked It To See It Was Low On Oil. 4. You Were Burning Oil And Never Checked To See If It Was Low! The Brand Of Oil You Use Doesn't Matter. It's The Weight/ Viscosity And How Often You Change It That Matters. If Your Vehicle Calls For 5W20, You Use 5w20 Oil. Don't Put In A Lighter Oil And Don't Put In A Heavier Oil. As Long As Your Using The Correct Weight Oil That Your Vehicle Calls For And Change It Every 5,000 Miles, You'll Never Have A Problem. Again The Brand Of Oil You Buy Doesn't Matter. I've Been Running Pennzoil In All Of My Vehicles For Years And I Change My Oil And Filter Every 5,000 Miles And I've Never Ever Had Any Of My Engines Blow Up.
@@thefordshopyard5348 Mine ended up looking a little different. I have a 1998 ford expedition. No gap at the top to slide the tall part in. Still working on figuring it out. But figured it would be good to know in case someone else has the same issue.
@@thefordshopyard5348 not to sound rude, but it does. Why would it work on rubber seals but not rubber gaskets? That doesn't make sense. They advertise to help with valve cover gaskets too
@@thefordshopyard5348I have a set of steel ramps that I bought 30 years ago at Sears…they’re rated for 5 tons. I’ll put a set of jaxkstands next to them for additional safety, along with wheel chocks. I have no qualms getting under my cars with this set-up. I was wondering about those plastic ramps. You don’t have to tell me twice! 👍🏼
