I live in a small apartment with no pantry so i use a cupboard as one. My back up pantry sits in a large cardboard box on the floor 😁. I make it work even if i dont have space, im hoping to get some sort of wood crate to store thibgs in so it looks better.
9/2024 Well, I examined about 12 different bone broths from the store.. and only found 1 that DID NOT HAVE SUGAR ADDED. It was $2.99 US per 16 ounce carton. Now that's about $1.50 a cup.. I drink 2 cups everyday..so.. it is exspensive in that context. However, I can tell you that BONE BROTH has made a tremendous/huge postive improvement in my health! Yes, I noticed positive improvement in my skin! Ladies pay attention to this. You wont likely find any commercial bone broth like you see here in this video with all that awesome gelatinous goodness - tons of collagen! And the collagen ladies is really super super inportant FACTOR here! FYI.. all that money you spent on those OTC "collagen" lotions and cremes... well here is the bad news YOU WASTED YOUR MONEY. Collagen is a huge mollecule and cannot penatrate to the deep layers of your skin to provide you with any benifit THEY ARE LYING IF THEY TELL IT WILL ..so topically IT'S A TOTAL WASTE OF YOUR PRECIOUS MONEY. *But drinking it however WOW.. THERE'S YOUR GOLDMINE!* You couple this good health habbit with a good solid Ketogenic diet and a little exercise program you'll be amazed at how much better you feel every morning when you wake up! You just got the most valuable FREE INFORMATION FROM THIS AWESOME VIDEO FROM MARY..
You talk wayyy too much. Stick to the recipie you are making, and dont go off on a tangent. Its very distracting and frustrating because I just want to hear and make one recipie, and not have to hear all the other stuff about all sorts of other items, oils, herbs, other remedies!
I thought the Laughing Cow Cheese needs refrigerated and very soft? How can you grade it? Thank you for all the free printouts. I bought your book, Amazon delivered it today.
Mary, should the RU-vid platform ever come to an end, I hope all these amazing, priceless videos are stored somewhere else! Your great great grandchildren will want to see all these one day, and so will mine! Whatever format is next for film, Marys Nest Cooking Class MUST be translated and preserved. Love and God bless❣️ 🫶
Thank you so very much for the delicious homemade sauerkraut. I did make one badge a few months ago and it turned out so yummy. 😋 I just made one more badge for the Rachel sandwich 🥪. The best and it’s way better than bought it at whole foods or Trader Joe’s. Once again thank you Mary. ❤
Great points! I make shelf stable meals and I use large baggies. I put bottles of water for pasta cooking, a tiny container of mixed salt/ pepper / garlic powder, and aluminum tins for the cooking- in each baggie! I put the “ sides”- cans of mixed veggies and fruit cocktail and even a box of Dollar Tree cookies. A true emergency requires both nutritional calories and comfort calories. 💗 Each baggie even has a Dollar Tree can opener if needed. 🙂
We lernd after 2018 CAT 5 Mike in NW FL that you can NEVER estimate what could happen in a disaster! 40 days w/o running water (tree took out the well pump) and 20 days w/o power! IT WAS FANTASTIC to share food from our deep freezer w/ senior neighbors and their famileis! Bonus for everyone was a key lime pie I had sectioned and inividually wrapped frozen sections - what a treat! Mary, I spent too much years ago for cans of emergency foods only to later learn they were serioiusly lacking in nutrients!!! so people be careful!! God Bless!! - Laura
Maybe he mentions in the book, but why do we need to continue probiotics or this yogurt once we have established the L.reuteri in our gut? I understand why after antibiotics you would need to reintroduce.
During the bad snow/ice apocalypse 😂a couple of years ago here in Texas, my husband and I filled up the bathtub with snow and when it melted we could flush the toilet. We had no power and everything is electric in our house. We were finally able to find a generator about 45 miles away and got one for our home. We ran the fridge, charged phones, and two electric heaters. We had plastic over our doorways in our living room to keep the heat from the fireplace in one area. I told my husband it looked like we were in quarantine. 😂😂😂Water pipes were frozen already. We were without power in our home for 7 days. We had propane tanks and cooked outside on our turkey fryer with cast iron. I keep many candles and batteries on hand also. And lots of blankets.
My Dutch oven is a Crock Pot brand with cast iron and white ceramic inside. I have never used it before. 🎉Today I will use parchment paper, but can I put the bread directly into the pan like you did? So if I just use a little flour…it won’t stick? Thank you for your fantastic videos!
I made these last night. Just had one in my cheddar broccoli soup… sooo good. Easy to make, tastes similar to oyster crackers. ( very hard, need to soak en)😊
Water Bob - YES! It’s a big, enclosed “balloon” or bladder. I keep mine under the sink in the guest bathroom. I wouldn’t tuck it in the back of the pantry as I’d have to go digging. 🤣
Thank you Mary, I was just thinking about making a healthy homemade hot chocolate mix. I’m interested in low sugar, thinking about using high quality stevia or just less natural sugar like coconut sugar.
Hi Mary. I enjoyed watching your video, but unfortunately, my bread did not turn out the same as yours. I found the taste to be slightly bland. I could not taste the peanut butter or the molasses at all. Perhaps I left something out or didn’t do it quite well, but yours looked much better than mine. Not sure what happened.
