Okay here I am after years and I'm currently watching season 6 of twd. Uhm... WHY DID HE SAY YES TO THE POSSIBLE ROMANCE IN SEASON 5😭 there was literally no romance and they killed her off too like it was nothing... Come on!! I'm really hoping something for the Daryl spin-off... But I don't have high hopes, the spin-off is set in France apparently too, so....
This ship deserved better and we fans needed more. But, I think the creators and screenwriters wouldn't create this scene if it wasn't real. They developed them for that specific scene for 3 seasons for God's sake! That's why I think we needed more, us, their shippers, bc we already knew he loved her (even though he didn't know it yet), plus it would've been a massive plot twist - Sherlock with human emotions! But ok, it's Sherlock, not a romantic show. I get it, that whole episode was to prove that Sherlock indeed has human emotions and cares about his loved ones. Eurus wouldn't put Molly in her tests for nothing, she knew Sherlock loved Molly; that's what the writers was trying to show us there, to prove to us!!! They could've put a picture of that (b!tch) Irene to destabilize him or whatever, but they made Sherlock say "I love you" to the woman he loves (without knowing) in a very "Sherlockish" way, bc, as I said, this is Sherlock, not a romantic show. I understand that, but I stick with what I said, Sherlolly would be a massive plot twist. I'm still a little bit disappointed 💔😢

i hate how beautiful this edit is that it's making me cry and it's been years. didnt wanna fall for these two coz we know better what happens in the GOT universe. BUT GOD they were i think the most beautiful part of the show. the way she was his saving grace and he was hers. it could have been cliche and contrived. instead, it was genuine, moving, and bittersweet. thank you for this beautiful edit! :)
I really do feel Yaz should have been kept on to be a long lasting love interest of the doctor like River. She really displayed a really realistic connection and it hurt so much seeing it all develop and End. Really hope they bring back Yaz in future.. like to be honest I have always seen Doctor who in my perfect world ending with The doctor running out of regenerations and settling down finally having their happy ending that they have never managed to have. But eh just an opinion. Will see where things go👍
these two are amazing together. it breaks my heart both in a good and bad way. To many emotions....as the doctor said "i've got so much love" and that amount of love that the actors can make you feel for a character, make you fall so deeply in love with them really shows how great of an actor they are. it doesnt matter if they are just stories/characters because "were all stories in the end, just make it a good one" as the doctor also said and they are real in our hearts so they ARE real, we keep them close in our hearts and make them real.
What started as a normal friendship, became something more than either expected or maybe become something that Yaz wanted and maybe what The Doctor needed. While it was shown how much Yaz cared for The Doctor we all know that The Doctor cared for Yaz were in the last 4 episodes of season 13. 1: In Fux: Chapter 6 when they hugged and after they had a moment before being ruined by Dan. 2: In Eve when Dan got them each to admit their feelings and we saw in The Doctors reaction that she is in love with Yaz. 3: in The Sea Devils after their small moment under the water and then talking to Yaz about dating and talking to her at the end, it showed that The Doctor wants more than anything to be with Yaz but she can't because she's afraid that if she does, she'll lose her just like how The Doctor lose Rose, Amelia and Clara and also Bill (even though she wasn't a romance with The Doctor but still cared about) which is why she didn't go for it. 4. Lastly the last episode, when her regeneration began The Doctor knew she had regretted not telling Yaz how she felt when they had the chance but even when they were talking on the top of The TARDIS look at earth, maybe it was good she didn't tell Yaz how she felt about her because it would make it sound as if Yaz is hearing the women she loves saying goodbye like they'll never see each other again, so by saying "I've loved being with you Yaz and I loved being me" is another way of saying to her "I love you" but not as a goodbye and by not saying goodbye, they both kinda promised each other, that they'll see each other again. Then Yaz smiling at the end when talking to Tegan and Ace and the other companions of The Doctor, kinda shows that she does believe that she'll see her again, not The Doctor with another face but The Doctor she falled in love with. I truly hope that maybe in a few years either in a special or maybe 1 or 2 more seasons, Mandip and Jodie come back and have a proper ending to their story.
