People say what they want to about the avalanche but when it comes to off road driving extreme id take one over just about anything else!! They really do rock and roll off road
Are they all on front Dana 60s? Any front 44s? I'm preparing to swap a hp 44 and 9" into my ranger and I'm hoping it's up to the task of 37-40" tires. If it breaks I'll do the jana50 kit and install Dana 50 gears in the front 44 paired with rcvs. Then the weak point will be ball joints imo
I’m a retired Infantryman that grew up in K-Falls and I cut my teeth in a 82’ Toyota Hi-Lux 4x4 with 33x12.50’s up around Topsy and Dead Indian Road, the terrain/soil type over there demands lighter/faster 4x4 rigs since a lot of the time you’re “floating” over small bad spots or climbing over trees and rocks and a heavy truck can usually do fine but it has its downsides especially when going along fire breaks where it’s not too wide sometimes. Glad you folks are up there. Thanks much for the video.
The most underrated and unappreciated truck ever made !!! I absolutely love my 2500 with 8.1 litre gas engine .. That thing has never stranded me for any reason at all period !!!! Theyr just great 4x4 trucks...thirsty as hell but great 4x4 trucks
I would seriously be interested in knowing more about that early 90s ranger with the “miss me yet” trump flag. That rig is badass! Does that guy have an instagram page or something where I can check out pictures of his build? Thanks!
I have 2.3 91 ranger 2wd. Geared high for highway milage. The gas milage is also amazing. Cruises easily 80 mph. Love the 4wd ones too really great trucks, my buddy has one and thing tops out 80 mph lol
Any build threads on these, particularly the blue one? Looks like at least the NBS green one has the frame front half'd and you're all running forward sweep boxes. Pretty sweet rigs.
The green one does have the front frame done...and it's just a f150 stearing box...dana 60 king pin up front..3 link....and shaved 14 rear...5.38 gears....63 chevy springs in rear
