Great video, but what on earth is all that racket in the background? If I were to hike there, does that mean I’m going to hear all that racket, too, at a State Park?
If you turn up the volume when she is speaking, it should only turn up her volume and not the music. It works that way for me when I used the volume buttons on the steering wheel to adjust the volume.
Thank you for creating RV videos that explain things in great detail. I appreciate you taking the time to help. I own the 2022 E-Pro E20BHS and love it!
When you changing lanes, does the screen in the middle turn the camera view of the side where you turning to or lane change to make sure there is no moving vehicle next to you? Thank you
It only shows the side view when merging if I am towing. I have an example of this at the end of this video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tuII7rG4PUc.htmlm18s If there is a way to have it always do this, I would like to know!
@@thedroesslers Thank you for such a swift reply! It would be cool if the merging function be avail in these days busy traffic could be very useful not to get hit by anyone or not hitting anyone when merging. Awesome video, I am trying to get 2022 Silverado 3.0 Duramax as well. Had Duramax Colorado, but someone hit me and truck was totaled.... 😕
We towed this for a couple years with a 2019 Chevy Traverse (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XaAwXDFOsfo.html). We now mostly tow this with a 2022 Chevy Silverado (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tuII7rG4PUc.html).
Unfortunate to see all these issues. I'm looking to purchase a Flagstaff E-Pro. Not sure I'd. buy or take off dealership until every things is demonstrated and operational before I sign on the dotted line. I'll be making my list. Thanks for sharing your honest review.
On the install.. I have an Epro, but when I go to take out the tongue Jack the power cord is too short without enough give to get the Jack out. Any thoughts or am I gonna have to return this rack? Thanks
Thanks for the video. If you're only hauling one bike do you think you'd put it on the front or back? Seems a lot easier to be able to put it on the front.
Let's keep in mind that if you have a USB memory connected, the sound settings is not shown up. I was about to drive crazy finding that until I disconnected the USB
We towed with our Traverse for the first 2 years/seasons and put about 4000 miles on it while towing. We didn't have any issues with it. We bought a truck in 2022. We still have the Traverse and would tow with it but we almost always use the truck now.
Not sure if the link below will work or not, but it only differentiates based on the engine for the Traverse. If I am reading it correctly, the 3.6L V6 engines can tow up to 5,000 lbs and the 2.0L 4-cylinder is limited to 1500. www.chevrolet.com/content/dam/chevrolet/na/us/english/index/shopping-tools/download-catalog/02-pdf/2019-chevrolet-trailering-guide.pdf
@@thedroesslers much thanks! I found the 2020 guide and it does state 5K. That's good news for now, but I'll need a truck when we upgrade to a larger RV.
Thanks so much!! We're going mid-July, so hopefully, we'll see some bears too! Decided to choose this tour over the Neets Bay, as it seems we'd be too early for the bears there. Thanks again fir responding.❤
Thanks so much for posting this video. Helped me a lot. Great that you mentioned a mistake you made!! I will make sure I don't make it- so learnt from it !!
Thanks, for the video review. We just purchase the same E-Pro E20BHS with Jack it. I have a question about room between the bike and the tow vehicle. I noticed that you have Chevy traverse. I'll be pulling mine with a ford explorer and wanted to how much if affects your turing radius before hitting the bikes on the rack? Thanks!
The only time I never noticed it getting close was when backing into campsites when there is a tight angle. As far as I know, I never hit the tire against the tow vehicle. We bought a truck last year and we now use that to tow the camper most of the time. I hope that helps.
It cuts and mulches well but that's it. I run it on max and it refuses to pick up 90% of the pine needles and dead dry leaves no matter what the depth setting is. The blade sits too high in the deck and is a wrong design; not enough lift. It's going back because I don't intend to rake every damn time I cut the grass. I cut at 3 inches because of the local heat
How did you make the truck do this with the light sequence in the LED day time running lights ? I have the 24 Rst Z71 Silverado. It did it in the first day i purchased the truck and haven’t seen it do the light sequence again since.
I don't remember changing any settings for this. I know in the garage, it always does the light sequence when I lock the vehicle and walk away. It usually does it in the daylight too, but I have noticed a few times it doesn't.
My 2024 stopped working after the free trial. The button on the steering wheel doesn't work anymore but the button on the screen still works. Is there a way to get the steering wheel button working without paying? I have the truck hooked to my android phone. Thanks in advance
For me, I have android auto open on the truck screen and then press and hold the steering wheel button until I see android auto waiting for a voice command. Then I let go and say the command. The other option would be to connect to a hotspot from your phone. I mention this at the end of the following video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l1x5fWJBMlo.html
I have a 22 trail boss as well, Refreshed version the one setting the driver assistance where you can turn it off as well. I drove without it the other day and it seemed a lot better because it doesn't pull you back into the lane but I do like driving with it cause it gets you in habit of driving straight but I was just curious. If it mattered if you turned it on or off while you are actually driving and how do you like driving yours with it on or off?
Chevy has completely left me. Die hard chevy guy and have prob owned 125 chevy products. Have a newer truck, and hate it. To much electronic unnecessary bullshit, not really a truck anymore. They've ruined the corvette,in my opinion. They're gonna drop the camaro. Gonna drop the 5.3 engines in all vehicles. Wanted to get a work truck but only comes w a 4 cylinder engine in a full size vehicle so I just bought a toyota tacome. May as well get a little truck if I'm gonna have a little engine.
What are you even talking about. Even the 2024 silverados come with a 5.3 or a 6.2l. If you can’t afford a real truck just say that dude because the V8’s aren’t going anywhere
If you will check the short bed regular cab chevy truck is only available with the 4 cyl engine. And the rumor is the 5.3 is going to be dropped in the future leaving the 6.0 as the only gas V8 engine.
That is correct. The manual says tire skates or dollies must be used under the non-rolling tires to prevent damage while loading/unloading the vehicle.
