Such an incredible part of our Country, was that up the Archer River and estuaries in there? Great tunes and good fun fishing Trip you guys had for sure! 👌👍🏽
@@madsteeez Epic. Southern Atolls. Uncrowded. Big. Lots of power. Take a bigger board as all of us were underdone. Epoxy boards were useless. Three guys on the boat snapped theirs.
@@shaunjej1855 wow😄 Sounds like a blast! We're gonna be northern atolls.. i don't expect to get undergunned there especially since i ditched shortboards ages ago🙂. I'm bringing a 7'2" mid length and might even rent a longboard there if they've got a nice one🙏🏼☺️
@@madsteeez Northern attolls are great fun. Have been there twice. Definitely not as heavy but still magic clean waves. Have a great time mate. I wish I was back there!!
@@shaunjej1855 wow sounds awesome :) thanks for the info!! forecast looks pretty bad, but i have the feeling that forecast is to be interpreted a little different for maldives as opposed to for e.g. Bali?
no its not, you turn up at a break, theres 6 other boats there each with 15 brazzos on em, you paddle out with 50 or 60 crew hassling thinking what did i spend all this money fly 12000 kilometres to surf this shit
Each time I see it there is that little bit less remaining. At least they haven't sent the army in to blow it up which was the fate of so many bridges on closed lines.
I would be interested in knowing where you got that idea. I specialise in covering old Victorian bridges and have never heard of that happening. There are still more than a hundred old wooden bridges still existing in Victoria.
Overall...it is packed in the Northern Atolls...and even in the Central and Southern Atolls it get stupid crowded. Just got back from late season in outer atolls...all the boats end up in the same area...10-15 surfers per boat...can go from light to heavy crowd in 10 minutes.
hey mate i just got back from Woods Point, lovely place...snowed on us whilst we camped last night and today... hey how did you get to that section of the river ? you go down a track?
Thanks mate. This was the first test of some 'action' filming with the quad - we're putting together a more 'full on' vid over the next few months. Still need to get my FPV setup working better first ... getting there. Cheers. Mike
