What a great pedal the tube scremer I screm you screm 🎉tube screm.that name Tube screamer makes a lot of sense..RocknRollflat5 first time wating your vedio real tutorial i needed .I also use a prinston with a boss ds1..
For Windows users, the ASIO driver doesn't work and Positive Grid still haven't fixed it... even the driver app doesn't recognize that the Spark is plugged in. You can use the non ASIO devices to get the Spark signal thru but the latency is makes it useless.
yup, what happens for me is, in reaper i can choose Spark as an ASIO device, however i do not have any INs nor OUTs to select. i've tested in on both W10 and W11, with multiple cabels and sockets.
Appreciate your lessons greatly. I never could make music with just the pentatonic scale which frustrated the heck out of me. I will practice this till I drop. I'm up there in age and memorizing the fretboard is a major challenge, but I'm getting there, I think. Thanks again.
24:41 ❤ great lesson. I’ll work through them until perfect. Bonus is the theory that comes through. You have a relaxed style of teaching. And humble. One question: which keys are the best/most popular to play blues? My favorite is E.
It's great advice to sound out the target note to familiarize your self with what it is you are wanting to do. You can do this just noodling around between the bent target note and the "not bent" target note - that alone can be a bit of fun too.
What I like to do is spend an hr. doing basics like fretboard memoriztion, triads and arpeggio's, then I pick a lesson that teaches a riff or lick. That way I feel like I accomplished something and it feeds my enthusiasm. Thanks for the great lessons Lee. I appreciate it.
10:38 Ah, I see why this works. The G triad is the upper three notes of an Em7. So when you bend up a 1/4 tone, you get neutral third (bluesy), neutral seventh (very bluesy), and slightly augmented fifth (filthy).
😂 interestingly the Affinity series Telecaster start having belly cuts. And I look at both of my Mexican Telecaster and c Classic Vibe Telecaster, none of them has the belly cut lol
hi Lee thanks for the workshops/videos you have shared with us all. I'm a late learner in my 50ish and i got your scales /pentomic charts printed which one should a beginner like myself start with? my bad on the miss spellings and if anyone else has an idea please let me know!! 😁
Great lesson.Just one thing that i find distracting is when you show the sequence of notes ,you shake your hands too much for each note.I understand there is a need for this to ring the notes out when playing the licks ,but maybe when your explaining how to play it would be easier for "us" to see what your doing.I hope this doesn't come across as rude. Thank you.
I have been trying for five years with just RU-vid videos and now at 65 yrs. Old it’s starting to come together 👍 thanks to people like yourself, I never picked up a guitar until I was 60,wish I could have done it sooner.
There are soooo many literal world class players out there playing at dive joints all over the place it's amazing. I've never seen so many great players out there as there are right now. Call me crazy, but I always think players, fair to great always way over estimate how badly it is when the eff up. Guess what, people appreciate live music and when you screw up, no one usually notices and if they do, they usually support and cheer you on willing you to do a little better. Seriously, get out there and play. Have fun and get the experience. Falling flat on your face builds character over time and you'll build self confidence too. Lee said everything right here, I agree 100%
Glad I found your lesson. So many guys I watch don't lay out how you can actually make music. They show you stuff and say "just be creative". I need more guidance than that, and this lesson gives me what I need.
Hey, Scott! Welcome! That's great yo hear. I'm glad you are getting something from these lick lessons. Let me know what you'd like to see in the future.
