The "St. Andrew's Collection" is a collection of sacred music geared towards traditional worship. This includes SATB choir anthems, hymn settings for organ, and other material (e.g., preludes and postludes) for organ, brass quartet/quintet and string quartet. The soundtracks for the videos were created using GarageBand, so the choir only sings "Ahhh", not actual words. But you will see the words as the sheet music scrolls with the soundtrack.
Music that is part of the St. Andrew's Collection (either an original compositions or arrangements of a song in the public domain) is offered free of charge to anyone who would like it. Simply go to StAndrewsCollection.com, where you can freely download any music you wish in PDF format. All music is also published and offered through the links provided in the description of each video.
Thx. As I'm loading my entire catalogue out JW Pepper, I'm finding some things I did a few years ago that need a bit of "repointing". I suppose that's the curse of all composers - wanting to improve things done years ago. Even though these works are published, I keep my website up to date (StAndrewsCollection.com) where it's all available for free.
One of the very most beautiful American-or any!-songs. I first heard this song in a LP ( remember?) my parents bought and it stopped me in my tracks and still does decades later.
This is the version that is available free on my website: standrewscollection.com/music/hallelujah-jesus-lives/. I also have a shortened version that I used myself but never published, if you'd like that.
Simply so beautiful! Planning to use this anthem for our Church anniversary celebration next year! Haunting theme and Oboe accompaniment! Listening on repeat!
I saw that you had downloaded it. I had to "skinny down" the original SATB version for my dwindling choir. I've been thinking about scoring the original SATB version for organ (vs. piano) and oboe. Let me know if you'd prefer that. Easy to do.
I walked into your masterpiece randomly, and I was immediately immersed with your work. It is a considerable source of my ongoing work on the Theological Declaration of Barmen and its relevance with contemporary China.
Thank you for your note, Jeremiah. It is an unfortunate reality that in these times, false doctrines assail the church both from without and from within. Many churches today would do well to read and inwardly digest the Theological Declaration of Barmen.
@@standrewscollection Again thank you for your kind work. Churches in China are being persecuted under a totalitarian regime, so the Barmen Declaration is especially salient for us. Thank you and I'll pray for you.
Thank you for this! Your organ arrangements are a gift to the congregation at the church where I play. I look forward to playing this at our Thanksgiving service.
I"m glad you can use it. I want to make you aware (if you weren't already) that although these are available on several publisher's websites, they are also available FREE on my website - StAndrewsCollection.com.
Yes, it is copyrighted, and available for $2.99 at either www.sheetmusicdirect.com/en-US/se/ID_No/546346/Product.aspx or www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/variation-on-mit-freuden-zart-sing-praise-to-god-who-reigns-above-digital-sheet-music/22160885 or FREE at StAndrewsCollection.com
I'm not sure my reply went through properly. I would be happy to help you with whatever you'd like. And just to be clear, it's always free. If you prefer, you can communicate with me via private email on my website - StAndrewsCollection.com.
