Caterpillar products have put food on our table for four generations. To this day they still do! I have operated caterpillar equipment my whole life, some of which were in extreme conditions such as Antarctica. I have much love for this company their products, people and values! I am a Heavy Civil builder from Texas. I have built on 3 continents, in over 10 different countries. I have pushed Deere excavators for 15 years. But after seeing this, truly considering switching to Cat. In a polarized, hate filled United States, it is refreshing to see a publicly traded company that still believes in the progress and inclusion that humanity achieved in the late 20th Century. I wanted to share an experience I had with caterpillar and lone star logistics outside of Lafayette, Indiana. I’m a flatbed truck driver and truck to come here to pick up a load at a 12 o’clock appointment. I arrived at 11:30 AM checked in. It is now 6 PM and I’m still out here waiting. This is absolutely uncalled for to put a truck driver through this torment and torture. Let me give you a little bit of, the situation we’re going through out here. We are waiting on a street with no bathroom that there is no toilet anywhere no freshwater no food nothing. Is this really how you wanna treat truck drivers that are here to move your property? I would like to see something done. This is absolutely uncalled for to allow somebody to wait this long with no pay.
