@@ep-ou7sc I can understand that it is what it is. I am a local volunteer firefighter from my county. We’re not allowed to run lights and sirens on POV‘s because people get carried away, but they have been talks about that being a possibility in the future would you suggest any good recommendations that I could bring so that we’re able to maybe one day use that on our POVs? One of the biggest issues we have been getting that is because it’s a big liability issue. It will not be covered by insurance the departments insurance and I could definitely see personal auto insurance skyrocketing. If I did decide to use it I was curious to know what your what is your take on that? What does your department do differently and so on?
Just a quick question to any police, Fire, or EMS workers out there I have been a volunteer firefighter since 2017 and I have been changing up my pov alot but just wanted to know more about the Rumbler Siren? My Uncle is a Career Paramedic for our local hospital, and his work truck has the Rumbler siren in it, and he says it makes the vehicle shake and sound like your in a hole when it's activated. Is that true? I do know that my uncle said that the Rumbler Siren is supposed to put out certain decibels to be easier to hear while responding on the roads
@jontucholski7411 glad you do! Adds to saftey for cars coming from side streets and drive ways as well as curves and bends. The state requires us to run our sirens while the lights are on when responding. No code 3. Code 1 or 3. That's it
@kevinh468 federal signal Unitrol Omega 90. No not some temu pos. If you were smart with the comment, you would have probably amazon or something better as an insult considering this video is older then temu by several years.
@ep-ou7sc bashing people who should represent our career better, will do it everytime, nothing to do with volunteers as a whole, embarrassing that the department allows that nonsense!!
@kevinh468 there absolutely no nonsense at all. Everything I'd done legally with in state laws. You haven't got a clue about this dept, how we operate and our level of professionalism. Your just spouting being a keyboard.
ich verstehe den funk leider nicht richtig, weil mein englisch auch nicht das beste ist, aber was wurde gesagt?...denn die Reaktion des fahrers zeigt eine wesentlich erhöhte Dringlichkeit...
You're throwing a LOT of fast light (and in the case of the SlimLighter, very directional light) at a driver coming towards you. I'm a firm believer in large, slow blocks of light; as such, I'd configure this differently.
I'm guessing your with sedgwick county ks fire I would talk to the county about dropping amr as a contract. I personal hate amr not the medics just the company. They will bankrupt ever fire dept and put other ems companies outta of business.
@@dustinfinch2392the company needs work the people are good hard workers Im done with AMR im going to be done with full time EMS im going back to school now. And as of now i don't have any affiliation with AMR /SCEMS/SCFD as of rn i am going to be moveing to ohio soon. And i will start over there.
@@ep-ou7sc that's right K9 vehicles don't see that kind of action, 8 year old this clean it looks solid but theory is highway troopers abuse these alot but it depends too. Would buy from CHP than Arkansas state troopers
