This channel is all about teaching you fusion guitar and sharing my passion for music with you. I've been playing and teaching guitar for almost 3 decades and was Greg Howe's private student for many years so you're in good hands ! Subscribe to the channel and let me "inject" your traditional rock guitar sound with Greg Howe inspired fusion ! And if you want to go even deeper, visit my official website !
By far this is the best cover of Jump Start. You play it with groove, as Howe does. Believe me, I've seen tons of Howe covers since forever and this is easily and by really far the best one.
I've been watching some of Greg Howe's clips from when he played in concert with pop artists such as MJ and Timberlake. It's a shame that Timberlake never actually collaborated with him on an actual song, rather than just bringing him in for some silly back and forth with his voice and the guitar. It's like, bro, you have a ridiculously talented guitarist here and you're using him as a prop or a novelty.
Maybe you can improve your audio sound so that the sound is better to hear because it's a shame that your game is already very good, supported by good audio so it's more spectacular, this is your audio directly from a video camera or cellphone capture, right? not direct
That’s. Luther right there!!! Best session guitarist of the last 30 years no 40 years shit I’m old and Mr. Luther is old enough to be my father well, physically old enough I’m 54 my dad 76 i’m just talking cause I can’t think of his first name Derek David, somebody help me I hate resorting to Google. He’s the one that recorded the beat Michael Jackson solo Eddie Van Halen may come up with the riff may the lead, but he laid it down, but then Mr. Luther come in, and did the real recording and he did exactly for no what Van Halen did that someone a talented musician unlike myself pick up my guitar play the same 67 songs the same riffs and leads just people think I’m good and I’m like I’m not good I’m actually terrible that weed in this video would take me so long to learn it I probably give up I gave up on the stairway of heaven lead halfway through it see which one about Stewart heaven being overplayed, but that lead is nasty oh, and Luther that his last name remember I can’t think of his first name yet he did the lead on hello by Lionel Richie, he was also in Toto not a band them crazy about but very talented musicians and I like Mr. Luther He is a real cool guy. I wish I knew him.
Love the lick and style. I remember when Greg had that issue of Guitar world in the early 90s...I was an amp tester for Crate back then...I learned a bunch of those licks from those few issues that had Greg transcriptions...I still have his cassettes.
