Where would a person get custom lasts from. I want to make custom shoes for myself only. I have really high arches and my forefoot rubs on the top of most shoes. I also have along archs and wide fore foot.I end up wearing shoes two sizes bigger than my foot length because of my arch hight. It's incredibly difficult to find properly fitting shoes. My father does saddlery so I have most of the tools needed for making shoes already I just need customer lasts.
Typically when making shoes you can glue leather bits or other materials to the last then file it into shape to make them larger in areas that are needed.
