@@DreamonoidNo it won't lol. It'll just mask it. You'll also lose max range on your sticks if you use that. Weird they didn't go hall effects when it's cheap af rn, instead they went the extra mile to install these useless drifix modules lol
@user-mc7bl3jj3j You know as much as people complain about controllers not being hall effect most controllers aren’t. Of all the controllers I’ve owned the only ones that got stick drift were the ones my children abused. My personal controllers are all still solid. So for me Hall effect isn’t a deal breaker.
You can select Hall effect in the customer menu now I just got standard stock sticks because they are easier to play with and I don’t have to get used to it
No that’s on me. As I stated in the video. I had already opened it. It was packaged perfectly. The pressing on the lid was because of me reboxibg for the video.
Owned the Edge (for the modules) turns out they’re sold out when you need them. Bought the AIM (for Hall Effects) loved the triggers HATED the back buttons and had an issue where the L joystick wouldn’t respond appropriately. Considered the SCUF but given your review, I’d just wait for edge modules to become available or the revamp the product with mousclick triggers and Hall effects m(once the do, it’s game over for a lot of these boutique vendors)
@@Dreamonoid Awesome just subscribed You present your points clearly and I appreciate that when ppl use it to determine $300 purchases from being multiple $300 purchases.
My scuff sucked horribly literally straight out of the box the back paddles weren’t working properly literally sliding and jumping id get stuck in crouch and would have to spam the back paddles over n over again to come out of crouching I’d never spend my money with scuff again. Looking to go battle beaver or evil controller not too certain yet nice controller though bro hope it’s still working well for ya
i got my reflex before dual sense edge was released, its still going strong with no stick drift, might get the dual sense when my controller eventually gives up
Scuf has worked the best for me out of pro controllers overall by far. It has a universal package with 4 easily accessible back buttons. Battle beaver has these tiny buttons made for precise placement under your fingertips, the thing is you aren't there to show them where to place them. My first order my fingers didn't cover the buttons at all, then I sent it in to get it changed and only my fingertips barely cover the buttons, so it would need to be sent in a 3rd time just to hopefully have the controller the way that it should be (paying and waiting each time)
This video is old but why care about the delayed R2-L2 trigger pull when you should flip to L1-L2 as your aim and shoot? Imo way faster to push L1-L2 and is more comfortable
I have the dual sense edge and the scuf reflex fps and if you play call of duty/warzone. Scuf is the better option imo. The controller feels comfortable in my hands and I love the grips on the scuf. And the mouse click bumpers and triggers are better overall than the dual sense edge.
Aint no way you have 300 sub. Video quality looks soo good. You deserve more subs. Already subbed . And thanks for the review. Expecting to buy one. But kind of an budget issue.
Hey, do you think about ordering a dual sense compared to Cinch gaming controllers? I saw one of your comments that you plan on reviewing and can’t wait keep it up
Battle beaver and most these other companies jus take way too long and are comfortable with that rather then changing it, I order one from Gamenetics and received it TWO days later with the accelerated building which is like 20 something bux
Why are people such noobs, All you have to do is to adjust the trigger pull of the edge in the settings and you have the fastest trigger pull period! Remember it’s the trigger pull response time that counts!
Even with the adjustment it’s not as fast as the SCUF instant triggers or the Battle Beaver instant triggers. I have adjusted in the settings and I see your point, but it’s still the reset of the physical trigger than causes delay.
Would be interesting if scuf made a reflex “EDGE” out of the dualsense edge and found a way to implement all 4 of its original paddles at the same time.
For me I'd go for the edge. One thing that keeps cropping up in these videos is the instant triggers for first person shooters. Foe me that's not a selling point as I use l1 and r1 to aim and shoot not the triggers
SCUF controllers are overpriced nonsense. $200+ and they don't even come with hall effect toggle sticks? Might as well buy an Xbox Elite Series 2 or DualSense Edge you can get more functionality and support for $50 less.
The only thing that makes me balk at the Edge is that it only has the option for two rear inputs instead of four. I have some cheaper two rear-button controllers that I like, but after having the four paddle option on the Elite Series 2, I guess I've been a little spoiled lol. I'm thinking about getting the Scuf without the instant triggers (so I can just use the bumpers for shooters but don't lose the adaptive trigger feature), but I'm really intrigued by the trigger stop system that AIM is coming out with for the Dualsense (similar to what Scuf has for the Instinct), so I might just hold off.
Personally for me, the key factor for the dualsense edge is the thumbstick module replacement. The mouse click triggers may be a downside but in the long term you would probably save more money instead of getting a loaded BB or scuf and getting stick drift causing you to spend another $200 or so.
This is very informative. Particularly, when you are worrying about mod or cheat factors; the narrative and a little review from websites clarifies it's essentially just a dual sense but it doesn't use 3rd party functions, but it comes from Sony and gives the performance factors of the scuff without any hidden 3rd party back doors. Soo, I think it's a go without 3rd parties for a better controller, esp for FPSs. Thx for the video..
Great review dude. I just got my bb custom dualsense and I love it. I'm just a casual player but I wanted back buttons. I could have just got the pre made but I wanted it tricked and I definitely paid for it. I got the beaver boost too so it showed up exactly a week after I ordered it. I got 4 back buttons in the busters and lower positions 👌
Lol wait until u get the DRIFT 🤣... I would rater use extreme rate or would've waited for the dualsense edge that way when u get the DRIFT u can swap it out.
I already have the dual sense edge preordered. The battle beaver already has upgraded sticks, and I’ve literally never had a controller with stick drift aside from the launch PS5 controller. Too bad Dual Sense Edge doesn’t have mouse click triggers. It only has a shortened trigger.
@@Dreamonoid my ps5 controller just died on me. The new one coming out can’t be better than the beaver. Optic gaming used battle beavers for the COD black ops 4 tournaments
