I enjoyed this discussion and very spot on on some of the concerns we are weighing in our workplace. I work for a nonprofit in HR with a global network of thank you. I look forward to enjoying all your videos
I think the capability of the HR leader is also key. We know that HR has a deficit dilemma. They are never thought to have business acumen unlike Finance, Supply Chain and Marketing people. Unless HR leaders become more agile and converse well on the business, the journey to be strategic partners will be very challenging.
Amanda, appreciate all the great insights, experience, and direct applications you provided! Most helpful! And Sophie, you asked the questions I wanted answers to! Thank you both!
This topic is so important for anyone looking to build or maintain employee engagement for themselves or their employees. The guest did an excellent job giving practical strategies for finding the right balance for both managers and employees. I particularly appreciated her emphasis on engaged employees are sometimes more challenging for leaders because they do care.
