A friend of mine drove me from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas to see Rizzo and Tullycraft play in a strip mall. We hung out with the bands at a couple casinos. Such a great time.
Man, rest in peace to Martin B(bass). I really miss him. Around 1995 i met Martin, and we ended up becoming good friends. He introduced me to a few people from that Seattle area music scene (Al, Chris from UP records, RIP, etc). I was this black dude from California, who ended up in Seattle. I was already a rocker, but Martin introduced me to a bunch of bands that i hadn't heard of before (the Wipers, Violent Green, Tad, Some Velvet, Built To Spill, North American Bison, the Fastbacks etc). I lived in Seattle for a few years and eventually went back in California for about 5 years. And since then I've spent most of my time between Seattle and the Bay Area(mostly the bay area). 2004 was the last time i saw Martin. We he died we were friends on Facebook...
oh man im so sorry to hear about his passing! he and i communicated quite frequently by email and message boards around 2008-2009, he turned me on to so much great music. RIP
Hey Gary Miklasdk here. One of my all-time fave songs to play, I'm sure i had fun recording the guitar part for this song; wish i could have been included in the video, oh well
Oh my god, I used to know Sarah back in the early/mid 90s and think about her from time to time to this day. So happy I stumbled upon this! Thanks RobCavallo!! 🤘🏽
Me and my bros saw this randomly on HBO I think or some cable network, they didnt like Grunge at all (they were jocks but they were real open minded) and we thought this was the sickest song ever. We would sing it as a back up theme to everything we did. We'd be beating each other up in the backyard screaming "YOU BE THE CAT AND ILL BE THE MOUSE"
Rest easy Martin (on bass) I love you so much. I'm so glad we met and had a blast working with him for 5 years at sight connection he worked there alot longer.20 + years I believe ..
