Thank you for this video …big ao feminin fan too. Had not heard of luxury vert …and now need to get myself a bottle after hearing how you have described it
Just bought glorious oud royal blanc and I hope I like it. I have wanted musc therapy for years but can’t seem to make myself spend the high price tag on it. Fingers crossed because I have not had the best luck with middle eastern perfumes
Thanks for sharing Joanna! Silky Woods was one of the worst frags I’ve ever smelled. It smells of potent medical bandages to me and the extrait is this smell on steroids😅 some reviewers on Fragrantica have said the same 😂 I tested G&B recently and none on them struck me. I found Ingenious Ginger, Sunset Hour and Bohemian Lime to be very weak and overhyped. Oh well, not every brand will work and that’s ok. Is it fair to say Iris Malikhan is underrated? 😍 No one talks about it anymore. Ooh I think I will wear it tomorrow❤
Oh no! I love Silky Woods Elixir and the OG is a like.. Maybe it’s the vanilla in there? I love Irish Malikhan. It is a complex one though and may not be for everybody. But yeah I agree because everyone is talking about Hibiscus Mahajad and Oud Saffron. Now that you mentioned it, I’m gonna wear mine tomorrow as well as I haven’t used it for a long time 😅 so thank you 😉
Hi Joanna! Let me sing the praises of Extrait Blanc by Elsire. After hearing one of your reviews. I bought a sample, and I was captivated! I love a rice note and this has become my favourites. It is gorgeous...realistic, which probably sounds strange, but together with the florals and musk, it works! Addictive is the correct word. And this lasts....which is unusual for a fragrance with a prominent rice note. This was a love at first snif, and I now own a 30 ml bottle. 😊 Blu Indaco caught my ey. It was briefly featured. But then faded away. That scent profile seems quite interesting..🤔
Hey hey! Yes addictive is the word! I can’t get over it 😅 All Elisire perfumes have very good performance. How I wish they have it in 50 or 100ml though. I’m not sure if you will like Blu Indaco. It can be too powdery and musky for some but if you like Tardes by Carner you’ll like Blu Indaco as well…
I love Stella. It was one of the last fragrances I had before I started collecting and went more niche. I wore Santa Maria Novella Rosa Novella today and got a compliment. I love Jardin de Misfah, I bought it in the spring and haven't worn it much as the weather got warm. I blind bought 100 ML of Lipstick Rose recently because it got it from Costco for $150 so I couldn't pass that up. I love it, reminds me of Chanel Misia (the price on Misia keeps increasing so now I am happy with Lipstick Rose).
My favorite is sandalwood too but I also like others like vanilla portugali Pink sugar I like all of them Lucinda what is my favorite like yours I think we should get together
Thank you for this comparison video! I have both...got Liam Grey first & ordered Antique later, not realizing that having both was redundant until after I received it. Liam is a touch sweeter & smoother on my skin & I like it a lot better. I get a hint of dill pickle with Antique, which is disappointing...my nose is super sensitive to sandalwood notes & certain ones lean pickley for me. Given those two factors, I don't feel that they're the exact same juice rebottled. Antique is going to have to be gifted, & I'm sad as I love the unique style of the bottle in my display!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. After having them both for some time now (those video is created in Feb 2024) I agree that Liam became sweeter. Still nevertheless owning both is redundant and I don’t find Antique a better option.
Oh well I love Italica so for me it’s a love as it saved me lots of money. Italica has been on mu wish list for a very long time. I understand if people won’t like it though. It can be too gourmand…
Joanna, thank you for the video! It was very helpful! I am from Brazil and thanks to you I tried Flora Magnífica! It is very, very similar to “ Byredo Inflorescence”, but much cheaper here. 😊
Hello Joanna! You look absolutely gorgeous! 🤩 I really love this category, and reach for the clean inoffensive perfumes the most of all 😊 I'm actually wearing my sample of Musk Therapy today, it's lovely.. I'll have to try out Royal Blanc 🥰 And you know how much I love Burberry Goddess, I need to get a sample of Athena for sure. I've heard such great things about it! 😍
Wow, I've been mia from the perfume scene for a while and now there isn't a popular niche scent that hasn't been duped by one of the Arabic houses, impressive. Is there a Kilian Rolling in Love dupe yet, I've been hoping for one for years.
Are you a fig lover? I realize that Orris has a fig like smell or maybe it’s done a lot with fig. It makes me nauseous:/ I can see how it would smell good on someone else though
I wear Musc Moschus to work often. One of my favorites! I also liked to wear Phlur Soft Spot. I finished it but I’ll wait until the spring to repurchase. I’ve heard Prada La Femme is a good work scent. Have you tried it or own it?
22 Orris is definitely one of my office perfumes! Such a beautiful, soft and cozy blend of warmth and sweetens that isn’t gourmand. You can catch it at a good sale too 😊
@@jmercadobeauty I also do not understand why there are almost 0 reviews of this remarkable scent. It slighlty reminds me of Casmir by Chopard but the saffron note makes the difference! Alluring and yummy. I also adore another Memo: Lalibela✨️ May your wishes come true!🌸
