This truck is a Dodge M37 that was swapped with a newer 2000s model dodge truck transmission, and 360 magnum engine. It even had overdrive! Finer details are lost to memory.
Yes its a total beast. All I can say is I wish it was mine! I'll have some more videos of it to upload in the near future, so keep an eye out. The next video I publish is going to be a m37 with the original Flathead, but it has a bigger cam and dual carbs. It turns an already amazing engine into a monster. Thank you for watching!
After this video was published, we noticed a slight knocking in the engine during idle. It was bad enough that the truck would shake like it had a Cummins in it, so something had to be done. Turns out, the stock push rods that were in the old 440 were not correct, and the valves weren't opening all the way. After new push rods, I Published my most recent videos of the 1 wheel peel and doing 0-70, only to find out that the carb we had on the engine, was plugged during the filming of those 2 videos..... Ill try to post a new video of the engine at its best, if we can ever get a carburetor running right! Please keep watching, like, subscribe, and be patient as we try to make this new engine work!
