This work except for when I try and save the preset and pull up my files and when I try and save it, it says try and use a different file and I’ve tried everything and I can’t figure it out
Hello. If you cannot save the preset after you fix the controller settings and you get a message saying "Please, choose a file in initial directory (“cfg\controllers\savedsetups”) or some subdirectory" go to This pc, documents, Assetto Corsa, cfg, and then finally controllers. In the controllers tab, create a new folder labeled "savedsetups". Save your settings in that folder. Hope this helps
I kind of liked it. Apart from the fact that the game is very heavy and the steering wheel movements aren't the best, the map is HUGE. And the vehicle's behavior is really cool. I hope there is an optimization for those with a medium spec PC.
I agree, they need to do some optimization although using Lossless Scaling does help a bit. The steering animation definitely needs improvement. I actually tried this demo with my CSL DD and to my surprise it feels pretty good 😊 Maybe because I know the place irl so I don't feel the map is that huge but certainly it's big enough for a lot of game play. One can hope if down the track they will release DLC which includes Kowloon and New Territories, then I will be in heaven haha
Apologise on the Google Map overlay in the video that I reused a source in OBS that has a chromakey applied! Hopefully didn't affect the experience too much!! Another NothingProHere moment! There are still many places we haven't checked such as Central District, The Peak, Stanley etc (if they are available in demo). Please leave a comment down below on where you would like me to do a vibe check on and I will try to do another video on it before the demo is off! Enjoy the Hong Kong vibe check in this vid! :)
From my understanding, the traffic density is all about the min and max distance between AI cars setting :) Try 10 for min and 15 for max if you want really dense traffic, but YMMV especially if you have long trucks in your traffic cars and it may be longer than 10 meters and another AI cars may clipped into and stuck with the truck. Haha
Great tutorial, but if you use a ps4 controller I would recommend adding content manager to steam so it could work (watch a tutorial on how to connect a ps4 controller to steam if it still dosent work)
Haha I love endurance, because in a 4-5 laps short race it's very difficult to try including any strategies especially if we got involved in Lap 1 T1 carnage it's an instant game over where in a long race there are always opportunities to fight back to the top. Just my personal preference haha 🤣
.NET 6 is listed as requirement for the AssettoServer app by their Devs. Port forwarding is simply something you do on the router, it's not related to .NET
Can you provide a link to the track and oval version 2.0 that does not lead to overtake_GG. They charge for access to free content as they have taken over racdepartment.
@NPH TV - #NothingProHere ... After all these years, I guess 3 or more, of having TrackHat, and NEVER getting it to work properly, messing with it on and off, hours and days, over and over and over and... I finally realized they sent a bad camera! I figured out I had to put a rubber grommet under one side of the webcam to get it to show my head properly at horizontal. I can't say how much this infuriates me! The only reason I figured it out was trying your setup. I saw that the horizontal red line was way off! I could never tell anything was off, as mentioned, with the TrackHat led setup. And yes, my monitor is 100% level! I just checked it again with a 3' level. (A testament to how perfectly I build computer desks!) _I have the latest version of Opentrack. OK, I almost have it working. _*_For some reason, the red dot will not center on my face. Any clue why?_*_ I have tried as many things as I can think of: disabling/enabling different things such as yaw, changing mapping, etc._ (After I get that sorted out, I will still have to figure out how to get it to work with BFV.) I would really appreciate your help, or help from anyone. Man, all the time I have wasted on this!

fixed it Run sunshine as admin Where the command line is, just paste the file path to where it is inside quotation marks Ex "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe" also some apps have steam as the default app. so ya have to change tthe config file to match a name of an application. in my case Steam Big Picture If that deosnt work Create a new program called Steam and past the directory to your steam.exe, see above example
I did everything correctly, only one car shows. I can only pick one car when i go to play the server and it doesn’t let me in because it only picks that car with the ai. I have every car on AI=auto. What should i do?
I never had that error message before, but instead, I was redirected to the Desktop with the streaming working OK but I had to launch Big Picture myself. This solved it. Thank you!
how were u able to send the head tracking to ams2? I did everything in open track. got it to track my head. but it's not feeding the data to ams2. I tried loading into steamVR mode but it is saying my HMD headset is not found (I have a OQ2 installed that's currently not connected)
Can you tell me how do tracking in vr? I tried to do it with the module Valve Steam VR, but axis just dont work, like only with oculus and not tracking
Thank you for the quick tutorial. I've had this issue for over a year and didn't figure out why (I just settled for connecting to desktop and using Steam manually) You correctly diagnosed the issue and provided a working solution!
The EB/deadman system is a safety mechanism that verifies the driver's consciousness in operation. A typical type of EB system is like a "watchdog timer". When the train is moving, a button needs to be hit at a certain interval e.g. every 30 seconds. If the time runs out and the button is still not pushed, a warning buzzer will sound, and the train will stop automatically if the button is not pushed in 5 seconds to cancel the alarm and reset the timeout. Sounding the horn or applying brakes can also reset the timeout. This type of system work quite similar to the SIFA device on German trains. Some Japanese trains have switches on throttle/brake levers. The switch needs to be hold down all time when the train is running to prevent triggering the emergency brake. The big yellow indicator above the clock is the door status light. When it lights up, all the doors are closed and the train is ready for departure. Bell sounds are for signal-related safety warnings. When you hear a ding, check signal and speed! On the top right corner of the left screen there are several rectangular green and amber indicators. The second indicator in the first row is overspeed warning, while the third indicator means the train is braking automatically because it's running too fast beyond the speed limit. The automatic brake is just an emergency safety mechanism and should not be relied on to achieve a correct speed when entering a station. If the overspeed light comes on, zero the throttle and apply some brakes gently! When it comes to traffic lights, there's no doubt that "green is go, red is stop". If the signal shown includes a yellow light, it means that you're running too far ahead of schedule and need to follow some temporary speed limits to prevent collision with another train ahead. Green+Yellow = 70km/h limit, A single yellow light = 45km/h limit, Red+Yellow = 25km/h limit. For some newer lines using ATC signal systems, there are no traffic lights, and the speed limit is shown directly on the speedometer by an additional triangular needle.
