To be able to use Script need a paid plan but I have another neat trick to get the record id without using script. just Add Button Filed and add this to URL Formula "<Your-Webhook-URL>?record_id="&RECORD_ID() This will send a record id when clicked on that button for that particular row.
Great idea, super helpful. Next step, bulk pulling the state over. Seems like this could be done with a rollup on the new table using array unique then convert to single select?
For anyone who this didn't work for, I had to replace the lines at the end (google.maps.event.addDomListener...) with this: document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', function() { initialize(); }); </SCRIPT> <script src="maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key=[*YOUR API KEY]&callback=initialize" async defer></script>
I came to revisit this, because I was having problems with my alternative implementation that I recently switched too, as ever since they updated to the new Google Maps API V3, this solution no longer works. I keep getting a browser error that says "ZERO_RESULTS". However that alternative, had its own issues, so I was trying to go for a more "raw" implementation, and yeah, I just cannot make this work with the new Google Maps API. Also, there's almost no way to import the JSON now...I found one exceeeedingly hacky method, but other then that, I cannot believe how badly Google has beat up their own product. Wow. Would love to see an update to this video on how to implement (if even possible) with the new Google Maps API.
It seems Google Maps have been tightening up lately. I’ve made the switch to Mapbox, which felt like a learning curve at first but I’m please with the process and unique maps! Free plan too.
Thank you Kyle - I am curious to know how I would have the document push to Trello from Formstack Documents, rather than sending me an email with attachment. Is this doable?
In this case I would look at using a different delivery method on the document - likely a webhook, as I’m not sure if they have a built in Trello integration. Then you’d look to use a tool like Zapier or Make to take the document from the webhook, and then push it to Trello.
Zapier, Make, Nobull, Whalesync and all other just work for CMS Items but not for Ecommerce Products, so you have to use a workaround with webhooks which is annoying. The Ecommerce sector is huge, but why does weblow not care?
I heard the CTO of Webflow speak at Webflow conf last year… my take away was that they are focusing on being the best website development platform… But for more specialized feature sets- like e-commerce, membership sites, etc - they want to help you get off the ground, but eventually know that you will graduate into other specialized platforms like Shopify. Another way to look at it, is that e-commerce is so large, it would take an extremely significant development effort to even begin competing with Shopify. And because there are so many other things they would like to focus on when it comes to improving their core platform, They strategically decided to focus their development resources elsewhere
@@nocodecollab Webflow is the best and I am loving it but when it comes to ecommerce there are limits and its workarounds makes things complicated where it shouldn´t be, like Zapier, Nobull, etc. are just working for cms items but not for product without workarounds. And CSV-Import and Export without all features could be solved easily but they don´t change it. Still I will stick to webflow and hope one day I can use my time more efficient.

What are the Pros and Cons of WhaleSyncing Notion-WebFLow vs AirTabLe-WebFLow? Among the Pros of AirTabLe: Views have record level permissions (filters) while Notion syncs all the records.
I’m not a Notion user - so I can’t really speak to that, unfortunately. The team at Whalesync is great though - they’ll surely be able to help with that.
Yep - good clarification... there is not a field type called "helper". That said, I'd modify one thing... you can use any field type to be a helper field - not just Look Up fields. The idea is that you are adding fields to your base - that are [usually] automatically populated and have a specific singular use. For example, you could use a formula field to generate text that will end up in a document. This field data only gets added to a document - and has no other utility to the base. Or a checkbox that gets updated by an automation - only once an attachment file is completely uploaded. Once the box is checked, then the record can end up in a view. Those are two helper fields I create somewhat regularly - that aren't Look Up fields. To your point though, Look Up fields are common Helper fields - but that's only seeing the tip of the iceberg. The broader point is that, as a database, Airtable is powerful enough to hold all of these fields - even if they have a very limited purpose. When moving from Excel, a lot of people try to be restrained with their fields in Airtable because they're used to spreadsheets getting unwieldy with a ton of columns. So while Excel can technically can store all of this data, it's not really best practice.
Hi, I have a document in Formstack using the data from power query which is passed to formstack as an object variable in power automate. Now I want insert few dynamically generated charts and table data in the same report. The charts are created in power bi and the table data is from an excel spreadsheet kept at Sharepoint location. How do I pass these charts(images) and data to formstack? These charts and table data are generated dynamically and should not be publicly accessed as it is customer data. I am not able to pass neither these images nor the excel data as a merge field to formstack from power automate. I can convert power bi charts and store at as pictures at a sharepoint location if required. Is there any way to achieve this or is there any way I can directly refer the charts and table data in the formstack document template I upload. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks!
quick question, what happend if onces of my names on the list does not have a last name, the formula its taking the name as last name and the name column is blank how i can fix that, thanks for you videos
Thanks for watching the video - if I'm understanding your question correctly, you could try something like this... Update your formula... If the position of the space = length of the name... or if there is no space, then leave the column blank. Might be able to see if ChatGPT can help write the formula, if you're having trouble.
