Hi, Ersbit here Welcome to my Smartphone world (Repair-Review, Repair, and Testing). Recommendations and tips on how to save money doing DIY. Electronic Repair Solution (ERS Bit) ➥ Email me for any to get in touch.
good instructions. one takeaway is even if you don't destroy your charging coil, the NFC antenna on top of it will get torn. it'll form an upside down triangle on the top half of the coil with the point in the center.
Thanks failures is part of success. If I didn't fail I wouldn't have been the only person later having viable diy solution for the 7 Pro and 8 Pro back glass 😂. At the end of the Pixel 8 Pro video I told them if they continue the same route I will figure it out and still show people. Hopefully the Pixel 9s moved away from this nonsense design 👍🏽. Still waiting to see parts online to have tutos on the 9s.
I am 1000% certain nobody looking for a tuto watches only a single video one individual perspective and then jump into it. Those lazy enough to do that will never do something like this and just complain about anything and everything. You choose which side you are on.
Seems like a lot of work and easy way to break the phone. It's don't know if they designed phones display it's pretty much that they don't want the user to replace the battery rather than they want them to buy a whole new phone. Proof that corporations like Samsung are greedy
😂 they want $$ to replace your battery. If you are courageous you can replace it yourself then the issue will be are you getting an original battery 😭. They all need to have a page on their website where they sell all the parts "original" that would be very helpful and the sales of unoriginal/bad parts would decrease for the greater good of everyone.
What about the camera stuff I did all these steps but it feels like the piece that holds the camera is in the way. Do they transfer over to the new lcd screen ?
I have a question After replacing the screen Will we loose the water resistant? The IP68 ? Or the phone can be working as needed as before without any problems
omg that's fucking hard lol, I think that I will just apply a skin on the back, probably it will not be that noticeable since I use a case with a matte ("frosty") clear back
No you shouldn't lose anything. These newer smartphone done lose any data during or after repair unless there was a problem during repair and that rare most likely a damage to something but no data loss.
Great video! I tried to do the same, but when I replaced the fingerprint-sensor, it didn't work even though everything looked perfect. I tried to remove it and put it back a couple of times, but still didn't work. Any suggestions?
Por eso resultan dañados los FC ID y después dicen que ellos no fueron, la forma de tratar los Flex al momento de tener el móvil como un libro, me parece fatal.
Yes but yes because before ios18 I replaced one back with parts and everything worked well. No issues even the wireless mic nfc part from iPhone 14 worked on my iPhone 15 without any trigger for unoriginal parts.
I agree to this comment. Reminding people of risks is always the right approach. To explain myself (first thing I always do is to disconnect the battery cable) from experience and knowledge after you isolate the power source there should not be any risk for shorts. After saying that using a plastic tool is recommended if that suits the need or if that make the person more comfortable 🙂. The only time I got a short was when I forgot back when the A54 was released I forgot to disconnect the battery with my finger or plastic tool then got a spark. After that experience I never forget anymore 😅😂.
@ersbit Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it. I always stay courteous with metal tools just in case there is power or static electricity. Thanks for letting me know🙂
Really ? Maybe the double sided tape was not good (seller put cheap double sided tape to lower their expenses) that's the only thing I can think of. You may contact the seller or return the item to them or even try to get your money back by saying it does not work ( this is a the discretion of the seller or the platform used to get the parts.)
When you remove the energy source there's no risk using a metal pice. Isolating the battery is the first step I took and without a metal tool (plastic or use your finger). This is my thought on the comment. Let's us know you're full thoughts so that I can fully understand.
@jurojegr OK. Thank for the clarification. I have bercer got anything damaged since I started doing these videos (your experience may be different) you can see on my videos I do it normally not stressed or aggressively. What you said can happen but I never had that experience. Tomorrow I'll be opening the 16 or 16 Pro doing the same thing 🤷🏽♂️.
🤣 I which they asked themselves that question when Designing the back. It's just impossible because they used lot of glue and special glue that gets soft only after using a heatgun at a high temperature above 800 Fahrenheit etc...
Are you serious??? Your statement feels like a joke. As how apple made their back glass it is nearly impossible that an electric iron would be helpful in removing it UNLESS what you had was not put by Apple and then it can be removed with almost any type of heat source.
@renoxboakyeacheampong1273 OK. But I still believe yours had the back replaced before and had b7000 or double sided tape. "The maximum temperature for a clothes iron can range from 250°F to 360°F (121°C to 182°C). " The heatgun I used was set above 500 Fahrenheit with a peak of 1000 F. The iron has too less of a heat output to be a able to do this the way I did it.
@@ersbit no it wasn't I bought the phone new in box I'm not sure why you are doubting but the electric iron I can say produce more heat than the heat gun. Because I pressed it on the glass. I didn't hover it over
I have zfold 3 with the outer screen blacking out and the inner screen damaged due to the screen protector peeling off, so I went to an authorized Samsung repair shop to repair the outer screen only but they told me that I have to replace both screen because the outer one still wouldn’t work even after replacement, I’m just curious is it true or not?
😆 this smell like a nasty bait From my experience if the inner screen stopped working (normal course of its life it just got used and that it it went black) the outer screen should still work fine no issues. If what they are saying is true it defeat the purpose of the outer display to be strong and more durable (should still be working fine and Undamaged) when your inner screen gave up after a few years.
Here's another example that backsup my argument. Galaxy Z Fold 5 In Water Then Foreced to Teardown ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PC018QQ9dF0.html This is my other channel with my Z Fold 5.....after a water test the inner screen stopped working but the outer Undamaged is working. If no physical damage the outer display should work without any restrictions even if the inner screen is bad not turning black or have green lines.
My opinion depends. You have a broken inner and outer screen. If you want to keep the phone fixing the outer only should still let you use the device like normal. Fixing the inner by a third party can be good but then a month later or two months later there's no guarantee the inner screen would still be working? Then your back to square one it's a fold 3 replacening the inner is good but it's expensive and like I said no guarantee it will still be working after 60 or 90 days even earlier than that. If the store has a policy saying if anything happens they will fix it that's good but I double it will be very long. The outer screen of the 3 is not too expensive. If you gotta keep this device I'd advice you to just have the front replace and keep it at least the front you have pièce of mind if not physical damage it would not stop working randomly. If you have the budget upgrade to the 6 take advantage of the trade in offer from carriers. Generally from manufacturing plant these have the highest quality if a third party replace the inner screen it cannot have the same processes as in the industrial plant. This device on the video Z Fold 3 needed a new plastic screen protector on the inside too. I went to an authorized store they said they could do it. They replaced it but still had bubbles on the display. They told me the only they could do it right is to send it to the manufacturer site to get it replaced there as they have everything to replace it and make it look like new 🤷🏽♂️
Just completed the repair for my Pixel 7 Pro. While it doesn't look exactly the same, this video helped me a lot in choosing the right techniques and tools as the process indeed was almost identical (just watch out for a different antenna that comes loose really easily in 7 Pro). Thank's for posting :)
I respect your honesty. It is certainly not for everybody. iPhones screens are generally strong and would not give up like Pixel Phones. As you said if you're not comfortable just have someone do it and take the blame if he make a mistake 😂 (peace of mind).
I wouldn't say that. Here's the video with the battery coming from Apple Self Service Repair (this makes everything easier....just parts would be a little bit mire expensive than if you were to get them online. At least you have the certainty of having an original battery and keep true tone etc...) Ok check this one out then (I used original parts from Apple Self Service Repair) Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max Battery Replacement Repair ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oI1IcmaGULQ.html
Exactly...this is something I like to do it makes it more realistic to people who attempt. Doing this also has a downside as some people will say if you are making mistakes you should not do any videos showing people 😅.
My thoughts exactly, everyone makes mistakes, hiding them instead of sharing so we cal all learn, is not good. So I second the appreciation for your honesty
😂 this 0 comments stuff I don't know Am asking myself sometimes if I make these videos too good and too understanding that nobody feels that they need to ask something that would be complementary info 😅🤷🏽♂️
Just to make sure it is sealed a little bit better. It does not guarantee water resistance as you cannot certify it scientifically 🤷🏽♂️. B7000 is easy to remove just like double sided tape. When heated it becomes soft.
