I just come across your channel, interesting! Wow, in 2020, offered to sell his land, quick sale as his wife needs surgical operation. He was selling his land of 500 sq meters in Balay Manuk for 250,000 pesos only. It didn't get, me. I wa also negotating an adjacent property to whatwe already had, but with great ocean views. But now, I thought the one in Balay Manuk 2020 was a good deal. I'd been inquiring also about lands, in this particular area of Balay Manuk, that's about the current buying price of lots there. We have a land higher up from Balay Manuk, 7 minutes going up to higher elevation for a price of 100 pesos/sq meter those days. There were lands sold for a price of of 20 to 30 pesos sq meter too in Timbao those days, and those days are gone. Property prices of Dumaguete spiralling up. But going outside Dumaguete, just within 30 minutes to couple of hours, if people just look, prices goes down.
I'm stunned at those prices. I live in the Big Island of Hawaii in a subdivision with asphalt main roads, side roads are dirt but in good shape, electric most everywhere and free installation if not. Taking the cheapest lot, the first one this video and 50p/1 USD, the cost is $150,000 USD. I can buy 15 house lots, already subdivided, in this subdivision for $150k measuring a total of 11,264 sq meters, more than twice the land, IN HAWAII for Christ's sake.
@@billyjohnson9166 Wow, REALLY???? That's "news" to me! There's probably more Filipinas in Hawai'i than pure Hawaiians in Hawai'i, what Hawai'i doesn't have is some of the negatives that the Philippines have, which I won't even bother going into.
@@billyjohnson9166 First you are talking about Filipinas that in their teens or twenties married a 50, 60, 70 year old American. They are grateful for being lifted out of poverty, but when they are brought to the US they realize that they don't have to put up with an old fart that feels that they owed them to be totally submissive and so they will dump the old fart and get a man much closer to their age. Please show me just one video whereas a 20 yr old trust fund beneficiary American went to the Philippines and married a 60 or 70 year old Filipina, IT NEVER HAPPENED, the other way around it happens by the thousands. FYI the Filipina community here in Hawal'l marries within itself. I know of several Americans that married Filipinas but they went and got them from the Philippines
If the expat owns it he will charge outrageous price, but there's always a fool who will take the bait, I'm an expat i only rent an apartment no desires to buy any property in the Philippines.
Not only do these foreigners go there driving up the prices 10x, 20x+...but then they decide they want to be real estate agents and RAPE other foreigners...because you can be damn sure no pinoy people are paying those FANTASY prices! 1st lot is a $1000usd lot. Foreigner gets involved...now the price is $125,000 KANO PRICE! 2ND is a $1500...on a good day Greedy foreigner gets involved, now it's $225,000usd...for 1 acre in the jungle!!!!!! 3rd 10,000usd ...ON A GOOD DAY!!! Greedy jonny boy gets involved....now it's $170,000usd 4th is a $5000usd lot on a good day.....But big time jungle real estate agent Jonny boy wants $257,000usd...a COOL QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS!!!! What do you suppose the "probability is that he found a SUCKER to buy any of those properties he bought for next to nothing???? ZERO PROBABILITY!!!! Who wants to make Jonny boy rich...anyone....anyone?? lol
Yeah, and it's not even a good farm lot. These are gringo prices all the way. Only a damn fool would pay those kind of prices for junk properties like these.
