@@martyy90 Believe me, Tekken 3 had a lot of awkwardness to it. Like issues with the camera, crouching grapples, and performing a grab on a laying enemy. It's just normally Tekken fans are too distracted by how hilarious they think the roster is to notice issues like these.
@@martyy90 Not only that, but Tekken is awkward in general when you try to do grapples on panda bears or dragons. It looks like some animation monstrosity.
Because this was originally an arcade machine. The point of this feature was to maximize profit. So even if you win instead of letting you have a “free credit” it simply resets the game after the name entry forcing you to put more coins into the machine if you wanted to attempt the other courses. But at the time the game was so captivating and addicting so in 1994 all of us collectively thought “Ehh, what’s 4 more quarters?”
