This video needs many more views and likes for the production quality alone. I just came across your channel and love this concept. Maybe the route can be a little more complex, to challenge FSD as much as possible. But great video nonetheless.
Thank you for the kind words. I am currently working on scheduling some remote locations with a few guest drivers. I think the thing that’s often missed, is that FSD used to not be able to do these drives.
Hey thanks for watching! 🙂 I use epidemic sound for music on my RU-vid videos. I’m not sure of the exact track right now, but I’ll look it up and respond back to this post.
Video quality is amazing. The lens on the drone camera is crazy. Is that a regular lens only, or there are some filters or attachments as well? Resolution and contrast is just outstanding. Even color rendition looks terrific, which all together seems like an impossible feat for such a small camera.
Yea that camera is really impressive, it’s the DJI Mavic 3 pro. The Hasselblad camera provides some stunning image quality, and if you can believe it, that color is untouched, that’s straight from the camera that way. 😊 It really does a good job at making reality look like a video game. Thanks for watching! 😊
@@graceshotdown I used to do quite a bit of advanced photography, so I can recognize a marvel. And this is one for sure. Amazing Hasselblad lens (well, the company name speaks for itself). Yes, I can believe that it does not need color correction at all - I still own a unique German Voigtländer full-frame lens that acts similarly. Great chromatic correction, awesome contrast, colors, and sharpness - so it is clearly possible. I checked DJI cameras, but I don't see a thing with 4:3 CMOS sensor. So my guess is that there is no similar stand-alone thing yet, and it was a special creation for the drone. I was wondering if there was a mobile action camera like a GoPro but with that sensor and lens(es). That would be a nice one, though it would also cost a ton. GoPro sensor and lens are tiny compared to Hasselblad's.
Oh if you’re looking for a gimbal style action camera be sure to look at the DJI Osmo pocket 3. I use it to film my travel vlogs, 1” sensor it has a really high quality look to it for something so remarkably small!
Thanks for watching! 🙏 This was a guest drive with a friend of mine. Be sure to checkout my other drives where we take out the model S, it’s a little easier to see the display and it provides that additional info I think you’re asking for. 5/4 drives are the most current and that’s with the red model S. As far as FSD not choosing the route correctly, it’s been an issue here that my friend @nowteslafy has been covering on his channel for a little while, he says he has about a 50/50 success rate with it currently. But obviously it will continue to get better. 😊
@@graceshotdown Look at the route planner on the lower right. It looks like it's going exactly where it planned. But you disengaged and then went exactly where the route planner was suggesting. It would be easier to see if you didn't swipe the screen over at 2:35. FSD may not always pick the route you like, but it gets there. Sometimes it lets you drag the route to change it.
@@StormyDog Oh, I see what you're saying now because FSD is in full screen it's hard to see where the "car navigation" was navigating to. Definitely be sure to checkout the 5/4 videos, that map is in the bottom left on the Model S display. The UI looks a little different on that setup and is usually my preferred filming setup.😊
Haha, thanks for watching! Be sure to checkout the other angles of the drive over on my channel. The videos have chapter markers in them so it’s easy to cross reference and find the scenario that you want to see easily. 😊
The parking is definitely too slow, but I am certain that will improve over time. Those are some beautiful houses you drove past. I am in the UK and we have very few that are even near their size. What sort of price would they sell for? In the UK they would be at least £3m ($3.5m), if you could find one
Hey thanks for watching! I agree, I think starting autoparking safely and then speeding it up overtime is the right way to move forward. Oh wow, yea homes in our area aren’t as expensive, most of those homes are right around ~$1M USD.
I don’t have a camera button on my version of software anymore and yes in my off camera drives we’ve sent in the voice notes for this situation a few times. It’s just tough to do voice notes and record at the same time. 😊
This is hands down the coolest view I have ever seen of FSD. One suggestion would be to lower the FOV so the video shows less of the car’s blind spots and more of the windshield and screen.
"everyone else is speeding and I don't want to hold up traffic"... NO. How about you follow the road rules regardless of what other people are doing. "Other people are breaking the law and murdering people, I don't want to be the odd one out so I'll do what their doing"..... Other people breaking laws and disregarding other people's safety is no excuse to join in.
Thanks for watching. I have some collabs coming up with different areas and different drivers. As for my area what may not be appreciated at first is that if you go back to the older videos the v11 stack struggled with these drives., with v12 I feel we are at the final stages of critiquing the little things in the software.
Great way to visualize how FSD is doing under nearly ideal conditions. The minor construction shouldn’ve been a problem, I wonder why it didn’t slow down.
Thanks for watching! Yea the potholes through that section are pretty intense. I know we haven’t seen FSD avoiding all road debris yet, so perhaps this is why it’s not slowing for the construction area as well.
@@graceshotdown I just read the news. People who carelessly drive those cars often end up in crashes. Because the car does not ensure the driver's concentration.
@@HariHarii1 the car has a cabin camera that actively monitors driver awareness. If you’ve never experienced it recently, I encourage you to go for a demo ride to learn more.
Great video, as usual! And yeah, I've seen the same problem with FSD v12.3.4, where it sometimes (but not usually) does not choose the left lane to make its left turn - we have a relatively short left turn lane as we leave our gated community - and it just won't get into that left turn lane to make its left turn ... and this seems to be a problem that came with this new release of FSD ... the previous FSD v12.3.3 did seem to have this issue - so hopefully, the next version will fix this issue since a number of FSD drivers have seen and reported this problem. I know you said you won't use the Auto Max Speed because it makes it hard to coordinate your drone with the car - but I've seen that the Auto Max Speed is working quite well with this new release - I wasn't using it before this release, but now it's almost working the way I thought it should work (mostly - not always, but close enough) ... thanks for another super fun video showing the drone view - it's really nice!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and for sharing your experiences! It's great to hear your insights, especially regarding the Auto Max Speed setting and the nuances of FSD v12.3.4. Like you, I've tried the Auto Max Speed in my drives last week and included it in one of my personal profiles. I agree that it generally performs well, though it certainly could use a bit of refinement to perfect its pacing, as it tends to run slightly faster than I'd prefer in certain situations. I appreciate your detailed feedback on the challenges with lane selection for left turns in the latest FSD update. It's helpful to know that this might be an issue introduced with the new release since it provides a specific area for future improvements. I'm hopeful, just like you, that the next version will address these concerns, especially given that it has been a noticeable change from the previous version. Thanks again for watching and for the fantastic feedback. Your observations enrich our community's understanding of these technologies and their real-world application. Keep watching and sharing your valuable insights-it's always a pleasure to hear from viewers who are as engaged and knowledgeable as you!
Hey thanks for watching. The car was trying to proceed before it was clear, @DoggoneSciFi took over and drove manually, therefore the failure rating. The chapter markers are also on the unedited and passenger versions of this drive video, be sure to checkout the different angles and see the situation from other angles. 😊
49 in a 40 I agree is fine, once you hit 10 plus you are asking for a ticket. It is irrelevant if youve caught others going 70, that does not hold up to a cop as your reason why you were doing 10 plus.
Hey Thanks for watching! I combine the standard aerial view with this camera and superimpose it onto the center screen to give the viewer a feel for what's going on around the vehicle, while giving you a behind the scenes look of how it all comes together.
Great video - loved seeing the aerial view of the Cybertruck and the views from that huge windshield, too ... we have one on order, but won't get ours for probably 2 or 3 years (hopefully!) ... by then, we figure they will have worked out most of the kinks and issues - and the price will likely have come down a bit closer to what was estimated when we placed our order back in September, 2021 for the dual-motor version ...
Thanks for watching! I couldn’t agree more, this truck hits differently when seen from the air. Notably the most underrated feature was the suspension quality. I also absolutely loved the sound the motors make. It’s a more raw powerful sound, when compared to the rest of the lineup.
