I remember watching this wayyyyyy back in the day when i was young and show time at the apollo was regular saturday night tv. Andre is truly groundbreaking legendary icon for this. And now voguing is much more acvepted in the mainstream. Respect icon. I think he shoulda done a battle for the 2nd show. Him vs. Icon Selvin or Stanley or something. Or maybe gave some mew way, if it was out back then.
They brought her back to reshoot her act. You can hear the original audio from her first performance playing in the background. She was basically naked wearing a cape but they couldn't show that on tv.
The bad part is, the group was probably his idea but it’s his rappers delight bars that got them boo’d 😂😂 you gotta know your strengths and what’s best for the group big dog.
Steve was a HORRIBLE host of this show. Spent too much time introducing people...then sitting there making jokes and discouraging them with cheap jokes about who they were. That wasn't cool SINBAD was the best host EVER.
