sweet video. Looks like you guys are having fun out there. Swimming through caves. Jumping off cliffs listening to house music. I'm going to check this place out. When I go there to Hawaii next week.
They're supposed to use the same key, but that's not always the case especially since Vipertech is not approved handcuffs by the NIJ. NIJ Approved handcuffs are going to be Smith and Wesson, Peerless, Hiatt, ASP, Or any other brand that specifically says they're approved by the NIJ. The problem with knock off brands like Vipertech and so on is that the keys for those handcuffs are thinner unlike NIJ Approved handcuffs, so the keys may not be compatible like they're supposed to. If you're using handcuffs for police work or any related field use NIJ Approved handcuffs.
You’ve definitely gotta give em a shot if you get the chance. I dunno how they do it but the outer leaf tastes like candy. Thank you for the positive feedback! 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Thanks for the review! I ordered this exact same TD recurve from Southwest Archery, still in transit. It appears to be the replacement of the Samick Journey, now discontinued.
Looks like you had an awesome day...! Is this your first re-curve bow...? And what kind of set-up do your have?. Like your draw length?, arrow spine? and weight of tips...?
How would you rate the bow quality overall? I've seen some things about some possible QC issues with the limbs having inclusions in the surface finish. How does the riser fit in the hand? Been looking at this bow real hard as a possible take-down upgrade over a older "Ben Pearson" re-curve I've been shooting for probably 15 years now. Thinking about getting 2 sets of limbs heavy/light for versatility since that's an option as well.
I think this bow is great quality. From what I know about wooden Takedown Recurve bows, I think that the overall quality of this bow would rate at an 8 or a 9. The riser fits my hand very well (I have large size hands) and is made of nice wood. When the riser is under shade or out of the sun, it has an Olive Green shimmer that looks very nice. I do wish that the bolts were the finger tightening ones that come with other bows like the Samick Sage or the Fleetwood Monarch, but that wasn't a deciding factor upon my overall purchase. A deciding factor for me was that this bow is 2 inches longer than most other recurve bows. This supposedly offers a smoother draw back which should help my longer distance accuracy. I think that the ability to change the limbs for different draw weights is a great feature of this bow. Unlike other bow companies, this company has 62" inch and 64" inch length limbs. I was also considering getting shorter limbs with a higher draw weight, maybe 62"inch limbs at 55 lbs. I am not sure how this bow would compare to a Ben Pearson recurve bow. I am very new to archery and have not shot a lot of bows in my lifetime, but this bow was everything that I thought it would be. Feels and shoots great to me!
I think its a little louder than my Pearson Mustang but this is only the 2nd bow I've ever had so not much to go off of. I contacted SWA about shoting off the shelf and they said it could be done, as the arrow rest that was included didn't hold up to the amount of shooting I was doing. Short story is the shelf is too curved to shoot straight off the shelf without some sort of a mini riser giving the arrow a flat surface to launch off of. I put up with trying to shoot off the shelf for one afternoon then stopped by the local shop and picked up a "Flipper rest II" and that has really worked out the best so far. The adhesive is much better than the cheap plastic one that came with the bow. I also installed a index button on the string and my groups of course tightened up a little more. For the money I don't think you can beat this bow, the riser does not fill my hand like my mustang does so its taking a little getting used to the grip and since I'm instinct shooting my groups are consistently higher I think because I'm shooting off the flipper? Archery is not my strong interest but I like it to be outside stay active and hone hand eye coordination. Neighbors at the apartment don't seem to mind so much.
Thank you Steven! I am using a GoPro Hero3 with the stock underwater housing. It is a great little camera for hiking in the rain and for getting underwater shots.
We are definitely snorkeling at Sharks Cove, but Three Tables is also a great spot that is located very near. You can swim from one to the other if your comfortable in the water!
