Yes,we have to move towards multi farming for sustainability. I was talking to Mr Pankaj Negi regarding variety selection,he says Fuji does not have a good market, however i have grown Fuji and its so tasty plus it's shelf life is very great and it also has red colour. We are working on M9 mostly in Kashmir, fortunately we have water availability because its a valley not a mountainous region. Your topic is excellent! Hdp zaroori nahi hai ki m9 pe hi ho, aap seedling ko bhi hdp pe la saktey ho, every tree can be converted to hdp bs prunning practices change ho jayegi, even plum bhi hdp pe laya ja sakta hai.
People generally don't know when to harvest this fruit, when it's dark it's half done and verry sour in taste but people are harvesting at this time so majority of time it's is not edible, atleast 1.5 more month is required to.properly develope it's taste and flavour.
