garbage heated seats.. designed to break not more than 5 years. in my car the passenger side stopped working after only 300km - not 300,000...... 300! wth.
Can u please help I need to know what color wires are what on heated seat 2001 jeep grand Cherokee I got seat at junk yard to replace the seat in grand am best one I could find and it fits great red wire is hot and black as ground and I now got full controls except I don't know what the other wires do there are two plugs one with four wires to the bottom and one with two wires to the top I also have the switch and need that info to
vmiele89 If you're just wondering about the wiring for the heated portion of the seat then the only thing I can remember for sure is that the two wire plug seemed to be for the heat in the seat "back" and the four wire plug was then for the heat in the seat "bottom". I found this wiring diagram and it seems to jive with what I can remember as far as the colors of the wires. www.mistycastle.com/images/perm/seat-wiring.jpg As for the switch, I started troubleshooting from the seat and found that I had power from the switch at the control module under the seat so I didn't have to go any further there so I'm not sure what those wire colors were at the switch for the heat.
