Gardening and growing food is my passion, and I know there aren't a lot of people who are super excited about growing their own food, let's go together!! NONSTOP HARVESTING!
⏰ YWG Hours: Monday and Friday - 9am-3pm until late fall
I've never seen one of those before. It looks like a cantaloupe. I'm still waiting for my last midget melons to drop of the vines. The 1st ones that fell of looked and tasted like honey dew slash cantaloupes. I pass my fruit around on my block instead of eating my produce all to myself...lol😅
I'm in Philly zone 7b, and I'm an urban gardener. I have been growing for the last 4 yrs., I grow my produce in grow bags. I purchased from Fast Growing trees, and my new arrival today is the Bonanza peach tree. I love your spacy yard and what you're doing. The squirrels, lantern flies, grubs, cats, and cucumber beetles are getting on my freakin nerves 😢😅
got a link to that trap? I bought one at the Home Depot and it was too small! The squirrel reached in, grabbed a snack, the door hit him in the back so he backed out. Then he was mad that he couldn't get the rest of the prize! 😂
I tried everything..no luck until I learned that at least in the city..there's plenty to eat..they just took bites to get water...so I put water around and that helped a lot..the final thing for me was giving them things to do so I let them climb the feeder and give them treats. Now they actually patrol my garden..chase away te rabbit etc..they even bring me neighbors stuff..lol
Hey man, congrats on the successful watermelon harvest! I’m growing the same variety of melon this year and lemme just say, the sizes definitely vary between each fruit. Some are quite small while others are decently big. But the taste is the same incredible sweetness all throughout. For sure one of the more underrated watermelon varieties out there. Anyway, your garden is looking great, keep up the good work! Much love! 👍
