3:09 Good eye, did you know about that line before the race? 8:25 you did what I did but worse. 2:03:30 even with a good ankle I don't like jumping stuff like that anymore. Glad I never got stuck there. did you say "Lukey" when you went by? lol
3:09 I gambled. Was scared there was a log or stump I felt bad like I forced the issue on that one. 8:25 man that hurt then on the last lap I hit it harder thinking it might be better I was wrong. I didn’t like jumping that creek at all.
I was out there, the camera doesn’t do the elevation changes any justice. Someone said there was 200 feet of elevation difference over the course. Not much of it was gradual lol and those rolling rocks 😮
@@LukeBrinkerhoff haha it was a tricky one for sure but I ended up liking it once I got a flow going. Took me a good three laps to get a good feel for the track
@@457dchapman it wasn’t! I aired my forks up too much before the race and washed the front end in the soft powder. Lost 4 minutes in that hole. Ended up 17 seconds behind 2nd place… I’m just a slow d class rider still learning the bike!
@@CodyVision they are the McGrath bend, I like em a lot, thinking of trying the fat bar version of this bend in the future. Man that track was brutal and hot 🥵
@@diyjeff1838 just gotta look as far forward as possible. But yes lots of experience helps make it become second nature. I still miss em every now and then
hey I can see where you are racing! lol. good job, messed up on my last lap, covered my throttle in mud, slowed me down quit a bit. what row did they start you on?
Row 20 I was back with some vet and senior B guys. Took about two laps to get in a good groove. I had never raced there before and I really liked. Favorite track so far this year
32:29 them short legs didn't help again? lol. 1:17:54 I shouldn't have encouraged you haha, you caught me again later and you were flying then, I didn't think I was gonna see you again. it was a rough race for sure, plus the heat I didn't have the mental capacity to deal with the rocks and roots. I would feel good then terrible. good racing still! I'll have my video up later.
I was so up and down that race, like you said feel good then I’d fall apart physically and mentally. Either way was a good day to be out on the bike. Had fun running with you, hopefully we can run together again. My last lap I was barely hanging on lol
@@457dchapman yeah you didn't look too good on the last lap lol. I felt good on it actually, other than when I crashed out. did you see that? I may do 4 arches, but that will probably be the only other CR race I do.
@@457dchapman well being 6'6" only helps a little. hard to be comfy on a bike....who is that guy in the coveralls? lol, i've wanted to do that for fun. looks like he has a good speed.
@@LukeBrinkerhoff that’s Steve Endres. He definitely gets after it!!! We had a good fun battle unfortunately on the last lap I dropped anchor and he dropped the hammer.
Listen, I did not enjoy clicking that like button. Super unfortunate mishap man. Don't let Steve see this or we'll never hear the end of it being a KTM. 😂 Is this the new 350 you've been on?
