Good waves there especially deserts.please all go there.thank god i know where there is still uncrowded surf on so many other islands.thats why you wont see videos ,maps etc or directions to get there.its called secret spots and still are today.just a few know.c
Nice info and video , thanks guys i will be there soon , Im at bali and here is to much party i wanna surf . What is the ferry company ? Can i take my moto rental to lombok ?
@@freshpr796 Usually you can. They often ask for passport photo and scooter registration. I have heard people in the past state if the scooter is not in your name they want a letter from the owner stating it is ok to take it to another island. I have never had that happen to me. The rate for the ferry for the scooter and passengers is under 200,000 rupiahs combined. I suggest you book a hotel in Kuta Lombok in advance. I was there a week ago and all decent rooms were booked so l had to stay in an overpriced room that was a dump.
Lombok is way better than the overrated island the so called Bali! Also the people of lombok are nicer and more friendly and welcoming than the people of Bali Speaking based on my experience to have visited both islands several times
@BaliSurfHunters Eheh when you see that shallow reef in front of the restaurant, meanwhile you need to generate a lot of speed 😅 you don't want to fall just right there, almost for sure you kiss the reef!
@mattjones3963 Yes, no doubt the crowds are bigger globally in 2024 than, let's say, 1994. Also, keep in mind that in 1994, there were about 5.6 billion people on the planet, now around 8 billion. Who are any of us to tell others they can not surf? The positive side is that more people are enjoying the sport now. For us that have been doing it longer (l started surfing in 1964), we can either complain and be negative or help teach surf etiquette in the water, which is desperately needed.
Thank you for the feedback. Many of our videos have just the sound of the waves. Adding music is a challenge. Some purists dislike anything but the sounds of the waves. Even those that appreciate music are divided on what type of music is enjoyable. At the end of the day no matter what we do, some will dislike it, prefer something else. With that said, that's is why l appreciate your comment 👏
🌺Xtra's 😂spirit is everywhere and lives on in our hearts ❤️😢 This beautiful footage took me by surprise. Memories of a magical island of spectacular vistas and waves🔥🔥🔥🌊🌊🌊
It's hard to make a video of Lombok surf spots and not think of Josh. We have made 3-4 trips there recently and l feel his presence there and while editing this video.
should avoid the left peak point and position the center-left point (near the tip of cape) at which almost no surfer is. it breaks widely sometimes as dumper, however, when sets come, a wave connects to left one then you could have a super-long ride.
@@wtnbkn63can you please be a bit more specific with where to position? 😅 It was 100 people today in the morning. Had to skip almost every wave and the few that I got were party waves of 2-5 people lol
@@Berniz123 0:06 Can you see the waves breaking from the left of the crowd you see in this clip? Always position yourself to the left of the crowd. It is desirable if you can ride the wave that you can see beyond the crowd. However, physical strength is required, so if you have a longer board, you can take off faster. However, if it is located too far to the left, it is dangerous because it is shallow water.
Dude! Killer drone footage. Love seeing these young guys ripping. I like the soundtrack. Keep it coming. Clearly these guys never grew up with surf music. The Chantays, Dick Dale and the Deltones. The Surfaris!
