Fantastic series. Please extend it for next topics. You did very well and provided good value! With your practical approach you can help much more people.
I love your videos. Very practical and well-explained. Thank you! You can always casually reminds us about click the like button, and subscribe your channel.
I love the way that you are presenting it. I was tired by theoretic information about terraform from other courses without any practice. My approach is first use the tool to build something, fail, try to figure out why did you failed (e.g. read docs, watch some movies) and repeat. With your video I can do it like this. It is impressive that you created this quality just for free. Huge thanks to you!
For anyone looking at this more recently, this video is irrelevant as Snap Camera is no longer a thing. Sorry. It was a great idea but the SnapChat Team found out that you had more freedom with their software than what they wanted you to have.
Aswesome video! I was trying to save my access key in keyvault and getting alot of irritating errors. These is way better and feels safer in my opinion because the environment variables are not mentioned anywhere and its safe to push your terraform configuration to github
Bro your instruction style is smooth, informative and simple. I love it, definitely subscribed and I’ll be tuning into further Terraform deployments you have to teach. This was needed thanks
That would be good wouldn’t it! I think when I was looking at it you could use a virtual camera as source for snap cam! Who knows maybe it’s in their radar!
@@Jonnychipz just checked this channel but this is the channel with Dean. Dean mentioned someone called Mattis or Matis but I was not able to understand the lastname to figure it out by myself.
any help or thoughts appreciated... i have a canon 7d mark ii and it works in streamlabs Obs, and streamlabs obs shows snap camera so I am good there. My issue... I go into Snap Camera settings and EOS Webcam Utility is there, but I cannot set resolution. I also do not hear my camera click on like the app has taken control of it. FYI - my camera does work as EOS Webcam Utility in Streamlab OBS.. so yeah canon camera and software is working.
How does the state lock functionality work with Azure? I am new to Azure and have previously setup IaC templates that target AWS. In AWS we use S3 to store the state file along with DynamoDB (serverless nosql db) to manage the state lock for us. I only see that we are creating the storage container to store the state file. The Terraform documentation says that AZ blob storage will handle state locking using it's native capabilities, but I'm just trying to understand how this works.
Hey Belal thanks for the question, you are correct, effectively you can use azure blob storage for the state file and access it via the backend config in TF as an option. The lock is applied to the state file when you instigate a TF apply. Is that what you mean?
@@Jonnychipz Yes, for the most part. In AWS, the S3 bucket only handles storing the state file while the DynamoDB table handles the state locking when running the apply command. If we apply this parallel to Azure, then we are only creating the "bucket/container" to store the state file. I was trying to understand how the lock was being handled. Based on the documentation it look as though Azure will handle this for us using blob's storage built in capabilities. Essentially, I wanted to understand how Azure is doing this for us. On the AWS side it's clear that the DynamoDB table is handling the lock for us, but Azure is simply "taking care" of it for us.
Hey Johnny, great fan of your work and I try to join Welch Azure as often as I can. I would love to read or hear upfront what the session is about. It's difficult the see, if those one hour sessions contain content or information that might be interesting for me.
Hey thanks Seb, yes I know I should probably work on my thumbnails a bit more! I do link to a blog post from the description which gives a little insight but I do appreciate that’s not always easy to find! I Hank’s for the feedback though I will have a think about how I can make that better!! Thank you for watching and coming to the Welsh Azure sessions as well Seb 👍🏻
