I have to say it is fun following along on your Japan diaries. Oh the cat toys in the bin are too cute. The animal food is too cute. I wouldn't want to eat it 🤣. The drum game looked fun. i'm from the us! the plane ride to there was the worst i feel like because i had never been on a longer flight like that. flying back was easier because i could sleep better haha

we went in may too and the weather was perfect! i hope the weather is good for you too! also some tips: - try to get familiar with the train/subway system as much as you can. it's a little overwhelming especially if you've never been on japanese transportation, but this definitely helped us to determine which lines to take later in our trip too - it also helps to pick an airbnb that's a short walk away from the train station so that you aren't bringing your luggage super far. ours was maybe a 7 minute walk away from the nearest station and it was close to restaurants so we weren't walking far for dinner or anything - a lot of the people that work in the airport speak english so don't be afraid to ask if you need help. if you tell them where your accommodations are and ask for directions, they can help you with which trains to take and which stations you need to go to - google maps shows which lines go where, and what time they leave the station. there is also an AR option where you can point your camera in the surrounding area and it will show arrows to help guide you to where you need to go the first day or so was a little confusing. it does help that the station names are also written in english so we knew exactly where we were going at all times. i hope this helps!
Egads 11 hours that IS a long time. But I work a 10 and half hour shift at work so I am kind of use to it. They stopped your dad in customs oh no. Ah all the munchies look good. So awesome being out and about with you in Japan. Too bad it was raining and I hope tomorrow is busy day with lots of sight seeing. 👍☺🥰

we stayed mostly in the tokyo area and visited shibuya and shinjuku! we also spent a day at hakone and at mt fuji too. it was my first trip to japan and i already wanna go back haha
