I was trying to loosen up the joints on my marvel select figure and accidentally broke off the right arm of lady deadpool very upset about it... Ive should've been more patience but then i was using my oven for heat but i just wasn't patient enough 😭... But thankfully i found some super glue... Only had the figure for a few days 😅 definitely important to heat up the joints thoroughly wish i had a heat gun....
My only gripe with this figure (and most McFarlane dragon figures) is that he doesn't come with folded wing variants. Which I suppose would probably be difficult since the wings have ratchet joints, and im not sure if it would be difficult or not to make ratchet jointed limbs interchangable. Ball joints would become loose overtime and the spread out wings would start drooping, so I imagine that's likely why they don't usually give them folded wing variants.
There are a few reasons. Off Camera Mike did have a kid, we both work on other projects and I have been focusing on stand up in the local scene. The Chanel takes up a lot of time and RU-vid is becoming a harder and harder space to grow in. It’s just the path life has taken us the last couple years. We may release more videos one day, but it probably won’t be a regular series.
I’m several years late, but I also own that Little Nicky figure that I 100% bought for the peeing dog. The sound chip plays Little Nicky’s demonic snore and the Mr. Beefy saying, “You love acting? I love pissing!” along with peeing noises.
The joint in this situation is quite chunky and I am glad it worked. Generally, I use some kind of sturdy nail or small rod just thick enough not to split the plastic in the joint itself and lodge it through both ends of the ball joint peg then apply glue and usually it remains in place without bucking again. Just sharing my two cents.
Very nice collection! I love X-MEN and your display at the end looks great! Nightcrawler and ICEMAN are kool too if you can find them! Definitely Diamond needs to make an Xavier! I actually have the Days of Future Past Wolverine which is awesome and he actually stands! Great review!
I really want this guy but im not interested in the gold repaint and im not giving several hundred dollars to the jackasses selling a 50 dollar figure at a premium price
Ohhh I know these are the worst for standing! I spend a lot of time finding their optimal pose, and try very hard to not move them too often or their joints get so loose. I can get most of them to stay standing but there are a few that will stand for a day max and then fall over 🤷♂️.
I have the diamond select tng warf figure/statue and was really impressed at the parts it comes with. Diamond always does good sculpting and coloring to the point that their 10 or more year old stuff makes even modern articulated things look like toys by comparison.
