What kind of patterns are you getting. I’m running the same set up this year. I’m using a burrris fast fire 8moa red dot. #9 TSS and code black turkey choke. Thanks
Hey guys, did you all have any loading issues with this when you first shot it? I know I just got mine and it will not load 2-1/2 for crap, but that’s expected. I’m waiting on some TSS loads to get in any day now and hopefully I can pattern it soon. I was curious though if you guys had any loading issues with the normal 3” turkey loads. Thanks so much!
Hi, sorry it took me so long to reply. The first planting did not do well, no rain and it dried up. I replanted again and it turned out nice. I frost seeded clover the next time and it was beautiful. I no longer hunt there because the farmer past away and his son would not lease the property. I now hunt next property over. Check out some of the latest videos. I’m getting this years Fall plot ready. Spayed last week and plan on plant winter wheat with some Daikon radish mixed in it. Thanks for responding.
Great ideas! I just bought the Max. A stupid question, how do you get the knob off to replace it with the peerless handle? I have unscrewed the knob, but it stops and quits turning. I don't wanna break anything.
The lady that owns it is very nice to let me hunt on it. Her granddaughter is in a lot of my videos and she’s hooked on, putting in food plots, checking trail cams, maintaining feeders and loves to hunt. Very proud of this young lady on how well she has learned so much. I’ve tried my best to talk the lady who owns it into sell it to me, but nope.... she loves too. Lol

I cant locate a source for the Peerless Nut Handle. Lowes and Home Depot as well as Ace are of no help. Also: these handles appear to be priced at a minimum of $50.00 to as much as $80.00. I would like to install this but where do I get the Peerless Handle Nut. Your reply would be much appreciated.
If I'm not mistaken did you have a leupold vendetta Rangefinder mounted on your crossbow? If it was can you please share with me how you did that and tell me if it works well. I really wanted to do the same thing but but didn't understand how you aim it because with a normal Rangefinder you look through the eyepiece and have crosshair to aim.....thank you for any help you can provide
Hi, Yes it is the Leupold Vendetta. You need to purchase the mount from a person who sells them on EBAY. Just search there under Leupold Vendetta range finder and you will find it. He makes two types, one is about a 1/4 " longer. I like that one the best. I have one mounted on my Tenpoint Carbon Nitro and the Nitro XRT. I absolutely love them. Awesome! I’m jealous, but love my 2018 Nitro...what a bow! Would love a review or opinion on the following: 1. Evo scope vs Rangemaster 2. Is there any noticeable dB reduction once you install bowjax? It’s already so quiet, but would love to know. 3. Do you wax in addition to Scorpion lube? I was told to not wax. If so, what kind of wax and how often?
I haven't shot it yet, just been so busy and the weather ain't been nice. lol I'll post a video on shooting it and my thoughts. I can tell you this, I really love the clarity of the Evo-X scope. It should work better for the Nitro XRT with the new scope as far as speed dial compared to the Rangemaster scope, but I'll know more when I shoot it. Thanks for the reply.
Hi GodsGreatOutdoors I shot the Nitro XRT today. I was only able to shoot 30 yards where I live. Let me tell you, I was shocked how quiet this bow shoots. I shot 10 yards to see where it hit and did a minor adjustment on POI. I moved out to 20 yards and my POI was about 3" left and about 2" high. Because I was shooting out of a DeadSled, to correct my POI to , I did not count clicks, but moved my POA to POI. I shot again at 20 yards and made another small adjustment and my next shot was dead on. I shot several more times and this bow was spot on. I moved out to 30 yards and my first shot was about a 1/2" low but windage was spot on. I lowered my speed dial down to about 435ish and shot..... dead on. I shot 10 more times and had to aim at a different bullseye. I am so happy with this crossbow. The Evo-X scope is very clear and I like the turrets better than the RangeMaster scope. The clear flip covers are nice and they fit very snug to the scope. The AcuDraw Pro is a nice upgrade too, over the original AcuDraw. Tenpoint did an awesome job on this crossbow. Quiet, fast and accurate. I'm sure the Nitro-X is an awesome crossbow too. Thank you and enjoy shooting your Tenpoint.
HI,Yes, that a Leupold Vendetta Range Finder. The have come out now with the Vendetta II and it comes with a scope mount. If you prefer to mount the range finder to the rail as I did, just look up Leupold Vendetta Range Finder on Ebay and you will find a person that makes and sells the rail mount made for the Vendetta. I love it and it works great on my crossbows.Thank you for your comment.

I agree. I made a sign saying " DON'T SHOOT STUPID ".I sold it to a guy who owned his own land and wanted it for his young daughter. They hunt out of a blind and love it.I really liked it a lot, but it was kind of a pain to carry to the woods. If you own some property and are able to leave it in your blind when you're not hunting and then set it up early in the morning, it works great. Thanks

Hi Swawn, My season was over before it started. The week before the season started I sold my house. Then my Dad, who is 96 yrs old fell and broke his hip. Between moving and spending time with my Dad I did not get any hunting time in. My son shot a nice gobbler out of my setup.Take care
Thanks Brother. I hope I get another chance this year, on video, to head shoot one. A few years ago, I shot one in this same, exact spot with my Benelli shotgun and the sucker started flopping around and fell off the side of the ridge and I had to slide on my butt all the way down to get him. I lost my footing and slid all the way down, bouncing off trees like a pin ball game! I lost the Go Pro camera that was mounted on my shotgun and had to go back later to find it! It was a long and steep way down!Head shooting from now on. lol !
Hi Blackswawn,My hunting spot was ruined this season just before the rut started. Loggers moved in and setup their trucks and equipment no more than 50 yards from my treestand. The farmer did not let me know he was logging this year. ?????Before they showed up, I did have several does and a few small bucks come in and fed on the plot, but I let them walk.I did shoot a small 5 pt after letting him walk many times and I did not video that hunt. It was on another property that I had permission to hunt. I would not have shot that either, but the lady who own's the property sits on her back porch, with binoculars and watches for deer all the time. Funny !She gives me a deer report everyday. lol ! She saw the small buck feeding around my stand and text me to shoot it. I told her it was only a 5 pt and she said " great...it should be tender...shoot it" so I shot it for her.Had no big bucks around my stand to video.Hopefully, this Spring turkey season I can get a gobbler on video, fingers crossed.Thanks for responding.David
great thanks for the help I hope to set my cross bow up like yours with the range finder as soon as I can get it and the mount. may just use a cam on my hat like a go pro if I go that route not sure yet. I could had had some sweet vids this year my best ever see my vid if you want to thanks brother again,
I sent Caldwell a video to see if they could come up with one made better. Never heard back from them. I guess they weren't impressed ??The call shelf can be improved on, but I think it is a very good tool to add to the Caldwell FieldPod and ChairPod .
