How does he coast that in 5th gear in the beginning without breaks? Edit: figured it out, you have to turn pretty early without cutting the corner too much (bc of track limits) but I'm not consistent with it and it's harder to do it during races, especially around other cars.
Jesus this is your not fav track and you casually clock 1.48 first lap ...lol...you made it look so easy ...when I race that car track combo it feels like Bambi on Cocaine on Ice
gonna try this one, my league is running this track as the "neutral" track before the season starts, so everyone can try out the different cars before choosing. i could not get the lambo below 42.5. and on spa i ran a 2.17.5 with it so i assumed i'd do better here. seems like just a shit combo then.
i was running my arb's the other way around, F6R0, but i couldn't make sense of what was happening, some corners it was steady as a rock, also no rotation like a rock, other corners it was floaty and slidey, and sometimes just bouncing all over the place, mind you i was on the softest spring rates, bumpranges F25R45 and didnt touch the dampers at all yet.
okay i'm the exact same laptime, but more consistent and now i see that i can't drive the same lines as you so i must be too aggressive on some inputs. not extremely important to get a good setup since we're not gonna race here so imma call it a day. cheers tho, nice setup
I drive ferrari 296, max i could run is low 1.59s...i have used guides with my setups, learned the track on every corner, correcting my lines everytime, I tried all that I can, I just couldn't shave off seconds from my personal best. I dont know what to do anymore.. feels like giving up. Lastly i just had a bad feeling that could it be my g29 pedals?
No comments! Let me fix that! Just subbed. I'm a Porsche main(911.2 because I'm yet to get the dlc.) I am still new to the game and am in a league. Thanks for the track guide! Will be sure to try it out... Currently doing 2.05s...hoping this will help me shave off some seconds!
You make it look so simple! I feel like my lines and breaking points aren't far off yours, but I struggle to get below 139. I'm gonna try this set up and hopefully I can shave off a second or two! Thanks!
i don't understand... I'm running the 992 GT3 R ..same track 30C Amb 21C track temp, running 172 MPH on the first straight instead of you at 168, still braking at 150 and trailing into T1, Copying EVERY SINGLE OTHER BRAKING ZONE EXACTLY, And still managing a fucking 1.52 I generally don't understand...I can't brake any later...and if i brake sooner i get a 1.53 I'm losing my mind here..I've recorded my run and watched them back-back comparing to yours and i'm legit not doing anything different other than you seem to trail brake a bit better than i can...but 4 SECONDS? Am i crazy or have these updates just made the cars that much slower in corners? (I've also copied Fri3d0lf qual tune a well known respectful driver so i know it's not a tuning error) Yet i can get 1.50s in the M4 (Quicker on straight ik) Am i crazy or is my bad trail braking really making me lose 4 seconds in total?? it just seems to extreme
What is the setting? what are you talking about?I'm ready to break my steering wheel, I don't understand how fking tuning helps shift the point so FAR. This is nonsense, no one has given an answer why my fcking Porsche brakes SO BADL Y@@MCR.88
@@1xxx75 Start with doing a outlap followed by 3 flying laps then balance your tyres to 26.8 (when hot) - do this with the safe preset then the aggressive preset then do this again and balance the tyres once again, that should give you accurate tyre PSI, this alone will help massively if you are not already doing it. The amount of laps required to find stable PSI under the current conditions may have changed though this should be a start. Then you can easily compare how two setups are drastically different in rotation, braking, stability and other areas. Then lower your brake bias, the default on aggressive for the Porsche 992 on Monza is around 58%, try lowering that to 48% and the brakes should feel a lot stronger. Apart from that braking will be slightly different depending on track state, even on a fast track in the practice mode it will be quite a bit slower compared to most online servers, start slow and try to build speed and after your tyres are up to temperature you should be able to find within a few laps how late you and brake for example in T1, that's why drivers get progressively faster in races coupled with fuel load going down.
same here mate, 1.37 is my best. I don't know if its setup and track conditions related at this point, or just more practice time. For example, I was stuck on 1.42 for a while. Got some info that the 720S really likes a maxed out front anti roll bar. Tried it and on my setup that I had at the time it worked wonders. That straight up dropped me to 1.40. Next day I was racing and couldn't crack the 1.40 mark. Tried a new setup I found on a steam guide for the 720s on Misano and that chopped another 2 to 3 seconds off my time. I can see that I am also getting better on the track so practice and learning the track is important, but after 2 moments back to back where a setup improvement gave me 2 seconds on one and 2 to 3 seconds on the other I am starting to think that the last 5 seconds I am missing are not just learning the track but a combination of both learning the track AND setup. If anything a better setup might allow me to push more and further learn the track even more. Apparently the last setup I had tried the person that uploaded it and a video showcasing it could do 1.33.... So, its possible technically. But a setup only works when it fits the driver too from my understanding. Idk, maybe it is just practice in the end... Time will tell. I'm currently at 68 valid laps and 173 invalid laps on Misano by looking at the stats, doing a little bit of hotlap (which btw helps for better times I noticed), practice, and vs AI to see if I can get the time in all settings so not all those laps are clean best time laps and its racing too. Still stuck on 1.37 (more like 1.38-1.39 avg time, 1.37 is my best here and there during a run) Seeing as this was written a month ago, what is your pace now on Misano? Did you improve your 1.37? I mean, idk, how much more do I need to practice? Several times now, on other tracks too, I keep seeing that a better setup straight up shaves 1 to 2 seconds of my lap each time. So I am starting to believe I need to find the right "fit" for my driving style. I mean, 5 seconds total faster in 2 days doing nothing different just by changing the setup twice? Makes me wonder, what other time am I missing on due to setup?
