La Verne Nursery grew many plants from seed for 5 years or so. Their dragon fruit plants had cross pollinated (probably a white undatus with a Guatemalan) So it resulted in different versions of La Verne Red and Pink varieties
@RAREDRAGONFRUIT I purchased some from Alik Shulman. I'm not sure what version he grows but the cuttings are twisty which caught my attention when you mentioned that characteristic. I don't have fruit yet though.
I just got two ginormous plants for free because the lady was giving them away.. I had a sneaking suspicion they had medicinal properties so I took them but I don't know what kind I have
Just wondering what do you think the max amount of direct sunlight a plant should receive each day? I’m growing in Texas and the area I was going to move the plants to is in direct sunlight most of the day and it will be over 100 degrees this summer. I was wondering if I should put them in an area that has some shade for a few hours a day or will they be fine in the sun?
Is it normal to be soil moist during rainy season? I used 50% potting mix and 35% coarse sand, 15% perlite. My potting mix consists of 20% Red Soil, 20% Coco peat, 30% Manure, and 30% Vermicompost. It's well draining but found moist.
I sent you this question on instagram too but I figured I should ask here too in case you don’t see it there.
