Well done. Just got a nearly new (used) Mavic Pro and did my first flight out of the backyard. DJI sent some sort of notice flight logs will be deleted, so I was wondering how I could save them on the PC. Great vid, answered all my questions on how to grab the data from the DJI Go 4 app.
I have a android galaxy 24 ultra.. the Dji Fly app keeps crashing. I uninstall it.. cleared the cashe and enabled sus apps.. reinstalled it and it's still won't open. I have Been using this app on this phone for a couple of weeks. Then this problem. Pls help if you can
It is frustrating for sure. Usually it is some phone security update pushed out by phone update causing certain phones not to work with DJI app(s) any longer. Eventually days, weeks or months later DJI comes out with app update and app starts working with the phone again. You could reach out to DJI with details of phone to make them aware of issue and see if they have solution. I have seen where they had older app or not release app and it worked to get people going again. If you have removed app data and apps, then installed again, and still no issue similar to this 2022 video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-i7EHMRtxCBQ.html, a super desperate measure to consider would be to back up all your phone photos and videos, contacts, and other information, then perform phone factory default. This had worked for me in 2022 when all four DJI apps I used stopped working at the same time. But then after they got pushed out update several DJI app stopped working again until several weeks later when they came out with updates. But kind of radical step as you might lose stuff on your phone that you failed to back up. Other option to fly is borrow a spare apple or android phone/tablet from a family member or friend who is willing to give you the phone, and see if the app works on that phone. If it does, use that phone/tablet until hopefully someday your phone works again after a future DJI application update. I went totally radical and switched to iPhone 1.5 years ago after constant Android /DJI application issues and have not had any problem using DJI apps.
Downloaded 1.13.10 and it opens for a second before crashing. Quite disapointed. The Mavic 2 mini was a great drone and I do like DJIs hardware. However I won't use a product I need to do technical research to just open its app.
Another option to consider is to borrow phone/tablet from a family member they are no longer using and can give to you. Perhaps DJI app might run OK on that phone or tablet as it might have different updates than your normal phone/tablet resulting in there being no conflict. Back in 2022 all four of my DJI apps stopped working at same time on Note 20 Ultra and was a struggle for over two months trying to come up with solutions to make them work. Eventually they all started working as DJI came out with new apps.
Even with the correct cable Insta360 device may not communicate with iphone using proper cable. Back in OneX2 daus they struck a deal only with Apple stores to make version of Insta360 OneX2 which could connect direct to iPhone via cable. All Insta360x2 bought from Insta360 or other stores could not be connected to iPhone via cable to read files. My Insta360OneX2 was bought from Apple so I have no way to test if Insta360 has changed the behavior to allow all OneX2 devices to connect direct to iPhone.
You are a saviour!!!!! I was wondering we what the hell was going on!!! I'd just used my drone 6 months ago and the previous app worked perfectly. As a I.T. guy I knew something was up. Looks like I can USE my drone again which wasn't cheap. Thanks brother!!!
Update on the loss of image transmission signal. I flew the drone after doing the refresh on the most current firmware, no change, get to an altitude of about 30 feet and my screen goes B&W and audio message that drone has disconnected from controller. I can still control the drone with the remote and keeping a visual on the drone, brought it back down. Downgraded the FW to the previous version, launched from the same spot, climbed to 300 feet with no error messages. My conclusion, faulty FW. Would like to know if there are more Mavic 2 Pro's out there with the same issue. Makes me wonder why this FW has issues with my hardware!? For the time being all is good. Bob
I have a Mavic 2 Pro and I'm getting the error message, Image transmission signal weak, adjust antennas on remote. I'm not positioning the antennas any different than I have been all along and I'm not flying any where I haven't flown before. I just finished refreshing the FW on the drone and the controller but now it's dark outside. As soon as I have time I'll do a test flight. If the problem persists I think I'll downgrade both the drone and the controller to the previous FW and test again. Thoughts. Bob
If this is a location where you flew before upgrade without signal issues and after upgrade you have issues, sure consider reverting. But first fly again at same location and distance and see if same issue happens. If it does then revert firmware and see if it goes away. Also this issue could have nothing to do with firmware. There could be strong WiFi or cellular signals interfering with transmission, it could be drone behind buildings or trees degrading transmission. In residential areas with lots of WiFi you can have connection issues at very short distances if flying at lower elevations. If flying in the country with little to no WiFi and less cellular towers nearby typically the range increases far more than in the city. So maybe this is not firmware issue but interference issue, which just started happening coincidentally after firmware upgrade making you think issue is firmware.
I will try to isolate the issue. As for conditions here, there is a cell tower a couple of blocks behind me, has been there all along. I have wifi in the house as well as outside and that hasn't changed either. I wish I could find some diagnostic tools for DJI!! Like what they use at DJI.
Great video Marcus. I have just purchased an OSMO Action 4 and just could not get my Samsung Galaxy S9 to install the Mimo app - your tip on using cx file explorer worked at treat! Thanks very much.
Dude the stuff you're doing does not match the app anymore. It doesn't work like you are doing it. Of course not. Everything fucking changes or you're just wrong
I was gonna buy the DJI action camera but after this, I don’t think so. I will stick to the GoPro. I have a GoPro eight already. it’s sad what DJI is doing.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ALL ABOUT MONEY 💰
Thanks a lot man, you save my life, I did lots of things trying to recover the (Mimo) app and I couldn't till you gave me the solution, again thank you so much!
I don't care about the android app, I'm trying to stop it from repeating over and over in a browser. I have tried suggestion for Firefox but none of them work.
Great video, can you tell me if I’m able to use the sound clips on insta 360 studio/app on the videos I publish on RU-vid? Or will it get flagged due to copyright etc? Thank you
Thank you for this shortcut! It's saving me so much time. There's something I'm trying to do that I can't quite figure out. If I have a file named as us0d-3456 and want it to be us0d-0003456 how do I get those leading zeros after the hyphen? I have thousands of files that have anywhere from 4-6 digits that I need them all to have exactly 7 digits using leading zeros... Thank you!
