Air Lift Company a third-generation family-owned air suspension manufacturer based in Lansing, Michigan.
Air Lift Company has developed dependable air spring suspension products since our inception in 1949. Our original product, a rubber air spring inserted into a car factory’s coil spring, was created and patented in 1950. We’ve come a long way since 1949 and are proud to be a dedicated suspension specialist company.
Today, Air Lift load support products are sold worldwide and are engineered to fit over 540 vehicles. Our extensive product line offers air helper springs for trucks, RVs, SUVs, CUVs and vans, and the most technologically advanced on-board air compressor systems for on-the-go air spring control.
Air Lift leads the industry in no-drill applications - kits that simply bolt onto your vehicle’s frame, speeding the installation process. Our teams work constantly to bring innovative products to you and upgrade existing products with the latest technology.
I just installed one of these kits today on a customers truck... Who ever designed this kit is a Muppet! Absolutely dumb. Three plates of steel bolted together to rust and rot. Cheap bracketry that is overly complicated for what it needs to be but still not good. Bottom of air bags bolted to that bracketry on the diff to limit extension of suspension. I could say so much more. It doesn't have to be this way but the guys that design this stuff are simpletons!
Mehh. Kind of stretching there .... Instead of offering to run all those cheap tools you should have said in with this tank you can now have a train horn
To anyone considering doing this job yourself, alot yourself more time than you think you'll need. Those control arms are a pain to get in and out. That ended up being 90% of the time into this project.
You are skipping some key parts. When removing the wiring harness bracket from the axels you need to also remove the clips which is a major pain in the ass.
I would not recommend these 1000HD bags if you live in a cold climate. I have had to replace mine (under warranty) multiple times due to cracking and leaking. Airlift knows about the problem and just continues to send warranty replacements. I'm sick of changing out the in-coil bags and am going with another company. To bad airlift won't allow me to pay the difference for a different style of airbag, they have lost a customer and I will let everyone know of the issues I have had.
Our kits come with Schrader valves for inflation/deflation of the air springs, and we offer onboard wireless compressor systems for total convenience as an optional upgrade! -MC
So, do I hook the 25980 EZ to these for a complete sytem and have access to also air up tires? I'd appreciate any direction. Haven't done one of these and I like the on board air,as well asremoteaccess by device.
I just installed these Air Ride 7500XL’s to replace an old set of Pac Brake 5000’s. I installed them on a 2005 Silverado 3500 DRW truck and put them through the test, carrying 2000 lbs of fuel and towing almost 13000 lbs (24 ft cargo trailer) up the Alaska Canada highway - a total of 2600 miles from North Dakota to Wasilla, Alaska. I removed the old ones and installed them in about 4-5 hours. Removal of the old set was the hardest part and installation of the new set was pretty straight forward. They definitely look way beefier that the old set of air bags and performed very well, helping to get my load more level. I also didn’t notice an adverse effect to ride quality - if anything, it helped smooth out the rough roads going through parts of the Alcan and particularly the frost heaves and broken stretches of road. All in all, they were a solid investment and definitely improved my truck’s utility.
Anyone else notice how far away the airbags brackets are when the axle is at full travel? Worried the bags will rip now that they are the travel limit and not the shocks.
