The 220's PENDOLINOS ARE ROCKETSHIPS ON LAND!!!! But just 4cars??? They at least should be 6cars!!!! Its more fun hearing them cut through the wind!!!! Those220's are marvels by the Brits!!! Even though that company sold the technology to some company in France, i believe!!!! They're suppose to be replaced!!! They're still the Champs in my opinion!!! And they're DIESELS!!! They could be turbocharged and if they are "all bets are off"!!! Because a turbocharged engine is just as fast as any electric m.u.!!!!! Earl of ElBarrio,NYC,NY. 9/4/24
Simply wonderful! My dad would always tell me about her horrific wheelslip and how when he sold his first house I put some of the money from it into getting her back into steam. Hes sadly not been able to see it happen. We lost him 3 years ago unexpectedly. But I know he's watching down with a smile. Steam well 60552 Blue Peter 💙👍
They should NEVER have withdrawn the 43's (hst's). When they re engined them, they gave them another 25 years of life, 100 times better than voyagers.😤
