Negative points: the Sends tracks Overlay GUI is horrible, also Sends busses will be send to main output, so suddenly if I multioutput the tracks, my kickdrum has reverb and delay from all other pads. Not Good!!!
i'm using the s61 mk1 and i drag both the mk1 and mk2 midi remote scripts folders to where they should be, but only the mk2 (and mk3, and Kontrol A) show up in Ableton's midi input settings?
Hi, I really hope u see this and can reply to me, I bought a used maschine but when it turns on it doesn’t look like yours, all the pads light up in orange so I can’t follow your lead cuz the buttons don’t do the same, the group buttons are all blue, how can I reset it to start over following your lead? Also when u are starting in this video do u already have the software up and running? U start off saying your mic is already set up so already you’re ahead of me
The velocity in radical piano is not changing the amplitude on different frequencies as this dude described. Reason has EQ for that. No need to build that in the radical piano. The velocity is changing the pianos tone on different velocity levels. We all know a piano has one sound when pressing the keys gentle and an other sound when hitting the keys very hard. That is what velocity is changing. So it is changing the tone in response to how hard you hit the keys. This dude did not understand that because he set the velocity in reason or in his midi keyboard device to be the same velocity no matter how hard he press the keys, and therefore he thought it was doing something else because the keyboard was not touch sensitive. It may also be that he has a cheap midi device that does not have any thouch sensitivity and then you will also misunderstand what velocity response is doing.

Why does the ADM not play patterns when I press PLAY in Cubase?! Like the play button is not connected to the global play button in Cubase?! Is that a feature or am I missing something? It only plays back if I play a "pattern" note on my midi controller which is terrible. So if I play C1 (midi note 36) it will play pattern 36. Awful. All other plug-ins and hardware I have play patterns when I press play in Cubase, why can't I get this one to do the same?!
Hello, when routing the mixer channels out to individual channels within the daw, are the fx (eq, comp, transient shaper...etc) still applied or are they bypassed altogether and the daw is only receiving the raw drum sample?
I subbed, watched for a bit, then unsubbed. Those constant adjustments were too frequent, ineffectual and distracting. And for what. Im trying to look at dude's face while he's talking and its all sausages, wires and tripods, oh my. Love the facilitator, watch him continuously elsewhere - but WoW. 😂
Thanks Dave, super useful! As an example of why would you like to layer in recordings on the loop record, that can be usefull if, for example, you are recording that loop from a live input deck with a mic and you are doing beatbox, you can do the kick, than layer an snare, then layer hats etc.
