Happened to me in music class so the whole class was like excited because everybody like loves the Wednesday dance song but then the teacher said before you guys watch this just know that this isn’t the song that you wanted to, but I knew there is two songs when is like one that a lot of a lot of people know it like I’ll dance and dance with my hands hands hands. I thought it was probably gonna be Wednesday because I know there’s two ones, but the whole class got ric rolled!!!!
Thanks so much for this fun song! I tried it with my Grade 4/5s this morning and they loved it! Great playalong and excellent to practise part singing too (at the end)! One question...when does the A play in the upper ostinato part...am I missing it or is that just a 'typo'...?
Hi! I love this! Can you make one for Ghostbusters, pirates of the Caribbean and Thriller for Halloween? My kids are begging? Thanks so much. You are truly the best!
Here is my two cents. I don't know how to create your visuals. I would love to know how. The other gulf is, I don't have access (or money) for various software. What do you use to make the visuals.
Directions on the video say switch to la... so stop singing solfege and sing the same pitches on la, la, la, or another vowel of your choosing, can hear the harmony better when singing the same syllables instead of the different solfege :)
I wanted the sound to cut out so that teachers and students could hear the performance best on the third pass. As Katie mentioned, feel free to sing any syllable you want! You're the boss! 😃
I have used your videos since I went from band to elementary music back in 2020, but this is my first comment. I've ALWAYS loved your materials so much but this one hits different. My kids LOVE this! The chromatic tones are such a fun and challenging exercise that the students can catch onto really easily since they recognize the melody. Thank you for helping make my music classes so engaging.
If this were a college course it would be very popular and useful for music ed. I'd like to expand the concept to xylophone, guitar, piano as well. This format is a hit for elementary music classes.
