This is awesome! I am SO jealous that there is a community pan band back in my home state of OH, there are almost NO pan groups where I live now (near St. Louis, MO), only a few HS & college bands in all of MO, & no community bands anywhere that I know of. I'm a Music Ed grad of U. of Akron, is the director of the N Philly bands a U. of Akron grad?
This show had a different opener earlier in the season, didn't it? With quotes from the themes of "James Bond" and "Titanic" before moving to the cinema reels form and the 20th Century Fox theme?
Encyclopedist im really sorry for the late response and you probably dont care anymore lol, but the band did have a different opening for a while. that was to make up time but then it was changed because the judges didnt like it :)
Thanks for the reply. I agree with the judges on this point. And given that the Marching Quakers got a Superior at State, this was clearly a smart change to make.

This group is very good and the arrangements are well done. A lot of fun to watch them play. What are the other songs in the medley besides Enter Sandman?
