Thank you so much. These videos of classic RE games are very atmospheric and very unique... revisiting these scenarios and listening to these classic soundtracks transport me directly to my childhood, where I would just leave my character still to simply enjoy that moment, trying to imagine what it was like life before the outbreak and chaos took over. I can't explain, just those who played the old RE games know this strange feeling...

What impressed me as a child with RE2 and 3 was the attention to detail. Cars wrecked and parked in odd angles. Debris on the streets, graffiti, shop names on the awnings, corpses in the foregrounds that amplified the spooky ambiance. I grew up watching zombie films and this reminded me of Day of the Dead because it was the first example of an actual dead city in the beginning of the movie
Using this track while doing cardio, just running through an imaginary city in my head. Then 10:59 hits and I hear Nemesis and I start running much faster
I played RE3 first and hearing that loud THUMP every so often in the soundtrack really made me feel like Nemesis was pounding on the doors trying to get in somewhere, really amped up the tension.
there's nothing will ever ever top Silent Hill 1 and 2, or lets say the Original Trilogy man lestining to this and hearing Harry footsteps is just somtohing else what a masterpiece game from the 90s, i'll never forget these days.
Great video, I love the aesthetics and the atmosphere of these old games! It would be wonderful if you make videos like this for the Resident Evil 2002 hd remaster too! In my opinion, the remake of the first game has a legendary ambience, and I didn't find any great videos like this for that game. 🥺 Anyway... You do a great job! 😊❤

@@maxmahoney2932 Corridors are a bit different, also they moved some rooms to basement. But the main difference was in main hall, it has only 2 floors and overall exit to sewers is located under it
@@SurvivalSpheres Thanks. These are ai upscaled backgrounds by RESHD team. This is the way I play re games on my pc. Adding some reshade shaders to them and they look almost like modern games. The hardest thing to do was to sort these background, because they were all shuffled in one folder with random names without any order. Took hours to sort them. Another challenge was to loop them without clicks, but most of the time just a simple crossfade solved it for me. Oh yeah and some of the music can't be found anywhere but in the game and pretty low quality unfortunately. So yeah, it's not that hard, but sure is time consuming 🫣
I'm a fkng 26 y/o now and this still gives me chills, it's so disturbing, makes me feel weak, unsafe. scared, I love it. When I was a kid this made me cry many times lol
