Hi Kay, I hope you recognize me. Kay, I've noticed that your channel isn't reaching the audience it deserves. You are not getting enough Video Views. I believe improving your video SEO could help you reach a larger audience and grow your fanbase. Thanks for all the great content you create!

So glad you found it helpful! I use a lot of journaling techniques...you can see many of them in the Spring into Summer playlist. (And naturally, I'll keep sharing more here!)
"Our lives improve only when we take chances - and the first and most difficult risk we can take is to be honest with ourselves." Thank you for sharing.
So glad to hear that! If you're interested in any of the online classes I offer, you can sign up for my monthly newsletter at www.pen-light.org/contact
I think those seeds are kaput, but we're going to try again in a different one! People online have mentioned bottom heat, but I think July and August are probably hot enough on their own
Here's my alpha/acrostic poem, ascribed to Kristen M. Castrataro: Spring appears with Prim crocuses and vibrant Rhododendrons. I feel the winter Nip Give way to an Incandescent warmth, Not too hot, and not Too cold. Outside is welcomed inside as I lift the Sills on the windows and Uncover long-unused screens. My predecessors May have scrubbed them clean Each spring. Not I. I simply Relax and let the breeze wash over them...and me. Let's see what you've created!
very interested to see these are all positive. that was not my intention I simply wrote what came to mind. yet I wrote this prompt the other day [ backstory I deal with suffer with a neurepathic pain condition that is unresponsive to opiods and over many years has become barely manageable with current science recently I've hadbto take opiods for an unrelated condition. ] The prompt was. how interesting to see the opiod work in my body. dulling covering the new issue and in its "buzz" taken the edge off my body and mind. leaving the neuropathic pain as sharp as ever to the point I could "see" its track through my face and head alone. it was the only piece of me that was "real" and eternal. that ligthensharp pain ripping its was through the cosmos as I lost myself in the opiod
Journaling has been instrumental in helping people manage chronic pain, sometimes reducing or eliminating the need for heavy medications. I recommend Scribing the Soul: Essays in Journal Therapy by Kathleen Adams, specifically the chapter Diary of a Headache. In peace, K.
Stepping Stones Being forced to take sailing lessons because my dad was too antisocial to join the club himself Finding I had an innate skill for sailing and racing - something that shaped and guarded my life until college Columbus day weekend in rainy cold grey Larchmont NY 1990 - hung over but still needing to dive to clean the bottom of the boat. Finishing by declaring my racing days, my drinking days were over [insert a flurry of "major" events and decisions - some directional, some catastrophic, but saved for another exercise] Marrying my wife and friend of 30 years Holding each of my children at birth each in their unique circumstances and milieu Letting each of my adult children uniquely leaving the nest and learning how to be a parent of adult children @k.castrataro3466
Favorite Things About Summer Longer days and warmth bring potential a target to grasp to enjoy. On the flip side, it’s memories that bring joy - of my kids growing and playing; their enjoyment of the ocean and their freedom. And memories of my growing and the crazy fun and freedom we enjoyed in our small town. potential is expanded by memories yet pressed in upon
How do I know it’s June A perfectly northeast facing window allows in the early sun for better or worse, bright or gray, it’s still new light. Taking advantage of that light is my wife, a teacher. Early June raises the tension level around the house - it’s the end of a 1st Grade school year. Can’t just walk out and into 2nd grade. There are portfolios and closing programs and the ever present report cards. I wake ready to be supportive but more just get out of the way. Lately I duck my head and stay in bed. When it’s safe I rise. A walk up the stairs brings on a new feeling of warmth maybe we should put the spare air conditioner up here. Especially if my body continues to move more to the heat and light - loosened up in body in mind. No need to sweat if I’m newly motivated to get things done - that base board, door frame, a new floor for the bathroom…my mind gets carried away too much to even start. The expectation of accomplishment joined to dread of failure hangs over June and its portal into the summer. My joy is beaten down by my fear.
Wow! Such a vivid experience of "structural tension": the pull between our current (comfortable) reality and our desired (sometimes scary!) reality! If you send me a message through my website, I can send you an activity (courtesy journaling guru Kay Adams) that can help the joy drive out the fear! www.pen-light.org/contact
