First song after the Rudolph sing along was a mashup of Love Won't Let Me Down by Hillsong Young And Free and musically part of Father Stretch My Hands by Kanye West! :)
It just makes the moments where the top washes get brought in seem more impactful. They are really nice to use for the big moments in worship songs, if they were already in, the big moment doesn't feel as big anymore
Hey Jackson! We like to use the top lights to add to the environment when songs get bigger. For the parts of the songs where they are more intimate, we find using only the bottom lights creates a nice environment where it makes it feel more spacious, and not confined to the stage. Occasionally we'll use them for a whole song, just depending on the song and how it needs to feel! We sometimes use some of them as back/side spots on the singers to help add that dramatic effect, but find it's not necessary for in person worship, but can definitely be used every once in a while in that way! :)
