Keep in mind... he was fighting to get in there from the start and the only reason he took so long was because he had to get past the Immortal Zod. Think about that... He was fighting an immortal giant demon until now and got in there without a scratch, took a shot at Void, parried his own move, killed several demons at 1 swing apiece, dodged getting crushed into a Singularity, picked up Guts AND Casca, and just rides out while they gawk.
I like to believe that Void can't actually see and just saying "Guys, uh... I heard something break, are... Are we winning? Are those hoofbeats I hear?"
I think kentaro would have already written most of the stories its just drawing and tweaks which his friend has to do and his friend has been part of the story wrinting for long time . Kentaro has already stated before that " as soon as manga is completed they release it " which clearly indicates that story is alreasy there its just drawing
They were really planning on adapting the whole manga. Like even the Berserk movie art book they released shows a fully drawn Rosine with poses so they were determined to adapt Lost Children next. We were robbed-- I honestly believe the movies, while flawed in many ways, in terms of a modern Berserk adaptation was spot on. The background truly matched the levels of immaculate detail the manga had and the hand drawn technical aspects were some of the best. By the 3rd film, they already found their footing by merging 3d with 2d.
I think the same brother, when they had already polished the animation was when they had to stop, having started with the golden age was not the best success throughout the arc, but surely with the fourth rosine movie there if they broke it and we would have seen the true powerhouse of c4 studio
I can't help but love the amount of 2000s angst the Black Swordsman scenes have, with all the motion blur and the general quality of the animation. It would've been so nice to see it made and released.
In the fifth episode, the Puck proof of concept was used in the fifth episode as Judeau reminisced over him. Griffith's incarnated form appears in a slightly modified shape in the "bonfire of dreams" scene.
because the movies, although they generated sales, were not enough to continue making money and since they did not make the profits, you would expect they did not continue it. but the trilogy returns as berserk: memorial edition maybe they surprise us with new scenes or a continuation with the studio
@@percyalejandrodiazdelacruz368 Hi, bro. U again here, how are ya? So, I have found something interesting while rewatching the third movie. If u look with caution, in a certain moment, u can see rosine right after eclipse. I don't know I just found out that now lol. But hey, probably we are getting Lost Children arc the next year or in 2024
@@lino1921 🤓🤓🤓 thanks for the info my king I didn't even know xD I just saw her, but her cgi is noticeable xd but if the fourth is confirmed then it is the children's arc, I hope they confirm by finishing the transmission
@@percyalejandrodiazdelacruz368 Yeah, I still hope they adapt Black Swordsman first though, I'd love to see the count, therezia and Vargas, especially considering that the Count already appeared in the eclipse. But I can see they skiping it, maybe they could make that Guts meet Puck trapped in the same village as Jill, since everyones hates elfs around that village. Well, let's wait, for me it's almost confirmed that we will get one more adaptation, since putting so much money into new scenes for nothing makes zero sense, but I can't me 100% sure until they announce it
I honestly just let them do an ova for each arch that way they can take their time and they don’t have to cut shitout like with the trilogy, and you can watch it from black swordman to the end.
@@trashboat5388 I think that they are doing that now. The trilogy will become a tv series, they will re-cut the original trilogy to fit in an espisodic formula. They are not animating anything new, at least as long as we know, but doing just a re-cut. However, it seems really sus to bring this new tv edition out of nowhere just for nothing. Also Studio 4C is the one behind this edition, not some random editor/studio or something like that. That makes me wonder if they will continue with the project of animating the whole saga now, and I think they will, especially now that the manga is back and there seems to be an increase in the demand for dark fantasy stuff (Elden Ring, for example)
@@trashboat5388 If bro, the arc of the golden age is one of the longest in berserk and although they cut several scenes it seems to me that they get along in a good way, if they animate berserk again and now the swordsman or the lost children being shorter arcs they would do great
@MayoChiki Miura actually accepted the offer after the studio showed that pilot to him. The movies also showed actual professional work and care in regards to the original manga. The CG in the first movie may have been mediocre but they kept improving. The third movie still to this day the best piece adaptation of Berserk.
Some guy said young animal contracted 4c to do 3 movies of berserk so they did 4c was ready to make another but it ain't easy to do contracts or something like that so young animal chose gemba.
Lucent should have animated part of the Black Swordsman arc they sure know how to mix 2d and 3d. Instead we got a clusterfuck of horrible looking CGI for the 2016-17 series.
Its actually really nice looking and attractive although some of the animation and color tones looked a little amateurish. There must be more. This is why I love the corners of youtube. Where is the rest ??
Of course it's amateurish. This is just a proof of concept. Something to give an impression of what they wanted to do with the series if Miura gave them the rights. None of this was ever meant to be seen by the public, though it is nice to have this piece of Berserk history. If you want the rest, though, watch the movies. The Egg of the King, The Battle of Doldrey, and The Advent. They planned to do the entire manga as a series of movies, but due to poor returns, they didn't go beyond the Golden Age. It's a shame too since the films have gained quite a cult following and actually are quite enjoyable adaptations, if a bit incomplete.
yeah but maybe this break is good for the anime, this studio do work better... so is not a bad news for Berserk i hope this second part have better animation and graphic and artistic realisation
Fucking incredible looking, had this been released, who knows how popular this series could have become. Why'd they decide drop this in favour of 4c "animating" this series is beyond me.
The truth behind this is that Miura received many offers from various studios to remake the Golden Age Arc and he turned them down. Studio 4c showed him a demo which was the only studio to do so, impressed him, got a good budget for 3 animated movies and was distributed by Warner Brothers in both Japan and internationally. The films DID NOT do well in Japan and were considered a failure. THIS IS NOT THE NORMAL PROCESS MOST ANIMES GET DONE. For Berserk 2016, it went the conventional route: had to be greenlit (NBC Universal) then onto the Anime Selection Committee where everything got fucked up. The committee chose a studio with no real experience animating by itself - Millepensee - apparently EVERY OTHER STUDIO was unavailable or too chickenshit after the Movies less then stellar reception while Lidenfilms was to (low) budget the series and WOWOW agreed to air in Japan. Gemba was selected to do the 3D cgi (a German studio with no previous anime work) while Millepensee handled the 2D. Oh shit! But the Black Swordsman arc was a really big thing! It gave great development to Guts and Puck, it was a scary adventure with intense action, and it built up Guts' second personality
