What is the point of these things? Is there any speed increase in being connected to one of these rather than the tmobile towers helium uses? It just seems like extra latency to me and an unnecessary middle man.

I have similar setup now but my hotspot does not show up in the Helium Black wallet app like yours. If i click connect hotspot, it search bluetooth enabled hostpot and fails.

If you’re going to use a indoor hotspot in your home for personal use that called gaming and it goes against the term of service don’t do that

I received my hotspot a few days ago and have made absolute ""0"" - I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I can see a heartbeat and my network stats are looking good. When I connect my phone to the helium mobile SSID, I have no connectivity and then end up switching back to my home SSID. I currently have it connected directly to my POE injector and then to my switch. All of the lights are solid but one which is an activity light that constantly blinks, yet I see no changes in rewards. I have looked at a few setup videos, but nothing really in depth of usage.
