I would suggest a re-run of Sparta with these following knowledge: _ Run down Argos ASAP. There is a side quest reward and it helps to connect supply lines. _ Recruit the other 2 characters in your starting port cities as naval commander and garrison them for the time being. The enemy fleets will come for it early. _ Bide your time with the army in Lamia or disband them. You can’t beat the Thebans in taking the whole of Euboia. When you have extra income, send that army on a northern expedition. You can disband to re-recruit them and reinforce the army in Argos pushing towards Attica. _ Trade with the Aetolians, Akkadians and Melians. Do not trade with the other factions other than them and the initial allies. If the Melians attack you, beat them and claim the island ( they were historically subjugated by the Athenians ). _ Ally with Knossos and help them control the whole of Crete. Or you can take Crete to complete the side quest. You will need 1 army and 1 fleet to autoresolve Kydonians. Add another army if you want to resolve the whole island. _ While it’s a good idea to ally with Epirus, they will involve you in a tug of war to claim the whole provinces of both Epirus and Thessaly. Better to beat Korkyra and conquer them also. _ Historically, the Peloponesians seems to be slightly disadvantaged so Sparta allied with the Persians. You can do the re-enactment or become the leader of Greeks vs Persians by eventually destroy them when you get to Ionia. _ It’s very easy to turtle in DLC campaigns. Patience can be virtue. You can wait out until the provinces of the allies you want to be controlled by the enemy and reclaim for yourself. You can wait for the essential techs to be researched until you unleash the boys.
Man the SFX in this game were hella loud they scared the piss out of me wearing headphones at night! lool They didn't used to encrypt files back in the day so ALL the SFX were just in a folder in WAV format so you could use them for anything. If you find a copy of the PC game somewhere, you could get hundreds of really cool sound effects to use anywhere. <3
phenomenal game amazing memories now being 30 remembering playing this on dreamcast being 5 years old such a game so dear to my heart forever ❤❤❤especially the crystal arc mission will never forget
I remember playing this game, modding this game (very easy to mod) I made a barrel that brewed wine and beer :) and made some decent maps with traders scattered about. I just finished playing Green Hell and I started missing this old game. The devs if GH seem to be against modders. Disabling debug menu and no mod support. Glad this game was never like that. I believe this game was made for easy modding using text file that are easy to edit. This is the way all games should be but now you got developers that don't want their game modded at all. Very sad. But we still have Stranded II. I still play this game from time to time.
For some reason this gun gives me flashbacks of rainbow six ps1, watching my team flatline and stressing 🤣, I know it wasn't featured in the first rainbow six but I sure wish it would have been.
this looks like the lowest difficulty mode...i don't remember this game to be so easy...AI usually was ultra fast and precise instead this egyptian terrorists look blind and deaf.
I stopped watching after saw you starting the game on "normal" difficulty. I am not a "difficulty freak" but have some experience in Rome 2 and now that AI is extremely passive on normal, thus no challenge at all.
Each time I see Rome 2, I get super hyped, install the mods, install the game, find out there is no shift + right click drag flanking and no alt + drag army commands, and I uninstall :D
