Mens pheramones smell more musty and cheesy and womens are more acidic and sharp like onions. Men having musky gourmands and women having mostly powdery florals makes sense to balance out their natural chemistry. I think perfumery is very strategically done from a scientific perspective over a marketing one. Well besides ck one lol.
I think this video is going to help a lot of people. There is a place out here in Southern California that will lie and say they don’t have a scent and you’ll both be looking at it on the shelf. If you just want to try a spray they’ll say “you can go to Macy’s and try it”. They’ll avoid the older cheaper scents, there are no prices on labels or shelves. They’ll also lie and say something (that’s a widely available drugstore type cologne) is discontinued to try to get you to accept their crazy marked up prices. They’ll only try to spray cards and not your wrist, so you can’t try it out on your skin. They push what they want to sell you instead of asking what you like. They’ll just spray a card and push it on you saying “This smells like tequila.” It’s like, how about finding out if I even want to smell like that? Would I want to go to work smelling like hard liquor? Of course not!

Hi lex hv u tried the latest 2022 batch? was just at the shop today, 27th may 2024 and checked the batch codes for both gold and ruby and both are 2022 batches. the emerald is 2019 batch. when this first came out agreed its a super beast frag. so was the gold edn that i bought in 2016 from fragx. but now i heard the gold and even the ruby has been watered down due to reformulation? damn shit. All good things come to an end

agreed brother! I ended up un-subscribing from a number a of fragcom influencers and keeping sub's for the genuine reviewers, and it's the best decision i've made. Now I only see the good side of fragcomm (well mostly).
I'm exactly like you on this one, fucking so nicely made. I have a made in france 2000 bottle and wondered if the current versions smelled just as good. Probably the best peppery frag Ive encountered so far. The perfect Spring scent in my opinion
